This is my first post here so lets see how it goes sweatdrop I really don't write love poems anymore, but I'm putting this one up because it got published surprisingly enough....

I dreamt a magical dream last night
That we danced for all of time
Upon clouds up in the stars
And I knew I could call you mine
As we spent that time together
And I held you through it all
We promised we'd always be there
Should either of us fall
I gazed deep into your eyes
Your smile filled me with glee
All that I could think of
Was keeping you near me
As I held you close to my body
And stroked your beautiful hair
I felt myself awakening
And you were no longer there
So now I sadly say goodbye
Every dream comes to an end
I do know that I wont forget
Each second together we spend
I've sliiped back into reality
Resisted life's cold embrace
I pray the day be done quickly
So again I can dream of you face
I grow tired of the monotony
From constant attack I strain
To hurry back into my own world
Where everything's right again
Where I find myself with perfection
And all my dark skies are turned blue
That I can dance the night away
Alone, just me and you
So rest, dark rest, please put me back
Return me to my deep dark slumber
That until the dreadful morning comes
I may dance alone with her
To dance our dance, together we will
And I'll overflow with joy
This dream is dreamt not only by me
But by every girl and boy
To have the one that they find special
And to dance the night away
This place of perfection we all want
In this harsh game of life we play
This world alone is what I want
My one and only true care
That for eternity, you and I
Could dance alone right there

Wow, that's a really good poem. It makes me sad and happy at the same time, and I had to read it out loud to myself because it sounds really cool and I like the rhymes. biggrin
