Rules of the Novelist RP Room-All posts must be at least a short paragraph. -This is going to be turn-based. That means from the moment someone enters their pet, they are put into the order. You are not to post ahead of your turn unless someone exits their character. -Before you enter your pet, ask the participates of the room where you should come in in your order. -All OOC comments should be made with some indication that you are not posting. ((Something like this will do fine.)) -Do not flame people for how they RP. Everyone is trying to the best of their ability, and each time they do, they are getting that much better. -I believe that every character has their own personality that is not influenced by their owner. Do not be offended if a pet does not take to yours. Other than that, have fun! I'm very much looking forward to developing a deep storyline between our pets!

((Setting will alter with change of season.))
Winter
-::The fresh fallen snow had quickly covered the golden remnants of fall. Morning's light set the meadow aglow, leaving a glistening plain still undisturbed by any presence. The sun has just begun to rise over the far mountains, giving sight to a capacious ice-bound lake to the east of the meadow's entrance. Scattered throughout the vast open space were numerous groves of frost-bitten trees, from stately lodge poles to the barren aspens, all coated in the hoar that had manifested from the frigid temperatures of the night. To the west, a cluster of snug, inviting cabins offer protection from the harsh will of nature, each with a remarkable cobblestone fireplace, stocked well with lumber to last through the season. Joyous finches call to one another as you enter, setting an inviting ambiance to the scene.::-

A small figure walking through the snow appeared , or more, its tail , the body trying to walk its way through the snow , struggling , as it was still a baby , ocassionally it would hop trying to reach over it, only to fall in again. She meeped every time she landed from those hops , each time she fell in she would again hop, until it hit something.
"Drip" She had hit something wet? How could it be? It was winter... suddenly she noticed it she hit a tree, with icicles(Sp?) , freshly frozen on, and still dripping wet, she shoke off the drops and continued hopping her way around.

::A small face poked curiously out of the warmth of her owner's arms. This was the first she has seen of the outside world, and was utterly enthrawled with its vast reaches. The air she took into her lungs was shockingly cold, but almost soothing at the same time. Excited at the prospect of finally being able to venture on her own, she leaped out of her security, falling softly into the blanketing snow. It was a lot colder than she had expected it to be, but the promises of the open plain distilled that setback.
She tilted her head into the wind, sniffing the thousands of scents the air carried.::

Syon flicked a large black ear as a particularly large snow flake landed on him, wrapping his tails tighter around himself, snuggling deeper into the snow. Taking a deep breath of air he finally forced his eyes open, standing on wobbly feet, taking in the sight of the open plains ahead of him, coated in a fresh layer of snow. He leaped from his place in the snow only to sink into it as came back down. Flicking a tail agitatedly he hopped once more, only to again sink back into the snow. He gave an angry huff, glaring at the snow, which was quickly becoming a nuisance to him

Alas, the small borwn creature reached an opening where no trees were, the snow wasnt as deep and the sun hit more , the bird's around called to each other happily and plants still slightly visible. At that sight the small creature scurried it's way over to it, quickly basking in the sun and enjoying the minor heat in the winter season.

:: On careful examination of the smells the winter breeze brought her, she'd picked up a couple of particularly distinct ones; close to her own, but different somehow. She helped herself up to her hind legs, just giving her clearing of the snow banks. There she saw it. A creature, no larger than herself, struggling to walk through the thick sheet of white. Quickly she resumed her crouching position out of plain sight, eyes widened in intense surprise and curiousity. ::

He guessed it wasn’t so bad, the hazy sky of winter blocking most of the sun, only leaving a few patches of it amongst the ground. Tactfully avoiding such places he continued trudging through the snow, stopping every so often to catch his breath. He yelped after landing in a deep spot of snow, struggling to pull his small body back out of it. Finally hauling himself out he glanced back. The woods were too far behind now, he might as well continue forward. Shaking himself a bit to get the snow off he continued forward, nose twitching at the new smells surrounding him.

The soft sound of crunching snow can be heard. When upon inspection its the form of two babies hopping forward one, after the other as they make their way through the snow. The female, with a halo perched above her head, giggles as she sinks down again from another hop, her body almost disappearing. This....snow, was truly something for her, cold yet wet, and so much fun to hop around in.
The male baby hops behind the female, laughing as well. Even though the snow was cold and made his fur wet when it melted, it was too much fun not to play around in. Besides, they could always go to their human mother and she would dry them up and get them warm again when they were too tired to play anymore.

The brown female hopped around in the slightless less deep snow, sometimes rolling or hopping on a pinecone, in whiched she meeped or yelped in pain and for a couple of minutes nuzzled or licked her paw , she would continue playing until her ear picked up laughing noises from not too far away, her nose also surprised her when she smelt something remotely close to herself, she scampered off to investigate...

:: The presences in the open meadow had become almost overwhelming. From every which direction, there was new life to be explored. Whysper's shy nature left her standing where she was, still not far from her human's feet. Her large ears twitched at each of the forign noises, though she did gather the courage to stand and look out again. This time she saw many creatures much like herself. She turned her questioning smokey face back to her owner, as if asking premission to adventure onward. Met with a look of approval, she began to hop forward through the soft clouds of snow, her ghostly aura trailing behind her. ::

Syon flicked his ears up curiously at the sight of a small grey creature, almost exactly like himself, hopping through the snow. One ear twitching towards the sound of laughing behind him. Curiosity getting the best of him he changed direction slightly, hopping towards the grey crature. He didnt much like the sound of laughing anyway, he figured, moving away from the playful sound, trying to put reason to his choice of direction.

Celio stopped his hopping and perked his larges ears up, looking quite comical as the bright green ears poke out from beneath the snow. Perking his head up, he finally spots the other little ones (like him and his sister) close by and laughing, he changes directions and makes his way toward them, always up to making new friends.
Angelina stops as well, licking snow from between her paws. She perks up when Celio suddenly goes away and she whimpers and whine a little bit, not wanting to be alone. Deciding her best course of action be to follow, she does so, not knowing he was heading towards the other babies.

Kalalia continued scampering toward the laughing, only to hear it stop, but she could smell a unique odor much like herself's getting closer she climbed onto a rock perched on her hind legs she attempted to see what was coming, if anything dangerous she could alway run back to her owners arms.
