What do you think about Kevin Harvick dominating the 2006 Busch Series? Don't get mad at me for saying this, but it makes me sick! scream

As you might know, i'm a firm beleiver in Cup Drivers stepping aside for younger talent to get a chance at racing. I understand that some Cup Drivers run a few races, I'm fine with that. BUT WHAT IS WITH KEVIN HARVICK! He's already won the Championship! Why won't he step aside and let someone else win! evil

OK sorry about that...
Anyway, what do you think?

Well Kevin is not obligated to do so and there's no rule saying he's not allowed to continue winning races after winning a championship. However, I think he should step down for next year and run a limited scheduale anyway. It's boring to watch the Busch series when one car wins 9 races and the championship. All of those rookie drivers that aren't able to qualify because of too many full time Nextel cup drivers in the show certainly aren't being done any favors.

I'm sure he would if he could, but he has sponsor obligations to run the set number of races they paid for.

I'm curious to see if he'll get 10 wins. Who knows....11?

I don't mind drivers like Kevin Harvick, Clint Bowyer, and Carl Edwards who run the entire season... But the cup drivers who just race a hand full of races a year, like Johnson at Lowes, are the ones who are taking away from the up and coming drivers.

Kasey Kahne, Scott Riggs, and Jeremy Mayfield shared a busch car this season, Kasey racing the most. I don't see anything wrong with that.

OK, I know he has sponsors to deal with, but he could at least drive a little less hard and give someone else a chance? I know that's not racing, but there are a lot of rookie's out there that would like to have a win, but can't get one because RCR and Kevin Harvick are just too good.

As all of the drivers say "he's a driver." He's not going to hold back, he's going to try and make new records.
