if al regains his complete memory of the "truth" he may surpass ed.
unfortunately al has a long way to catch up with ed because of the time ed has had to perfect his skills.

If I tolerated Al, I might give this topic a thought...but on typical reaction of a psycho fangirl, HELL NO.

Okay, I guess maybe he would almost catch up to Ed...Although Al saw more of the truth than Ed did, Ed has WAY more experiance with the ways of the world. And Al didn't lose his soul, so he still can't do human transmutation, while Edward knows how to use the philosophers stone.

Al surpass Edo? My Edo? ...No... Just No... I guess it might be interesting to watch but I don't know... I just can't see it. To pass up my Edo is just not right. I don't know why but the whole Edo being the best should just stay that way. 3nodding

to tell you the truth, no. he couldnt.... (if you've seen the end of the movie, you'll know what i mean) besides, ed's way better, and has a little more drive to him. i don't think al could surpass him. honestly, though i do like al okay.... i just LOVE ED!!!!! (more)(than fma series)

Yea, well because he saw more of the gate because his WHOLE body was taken and well you know how Ed learned how to to the transmutation when he went through the gate? Well think if Ed learned a bit of this and that , think how much alphonse learned.
(That was hard to put in words!!!)
