hmm... cheesecake is fairly easy unbaked, as for the oreo, as it inside, or on top?

was the cheesecake white, or chocolate?

what crust was it? Graham cracker?

I have no idea how to make an oreo crust...none at all... very unique!

As for the cheesecake....

*runs upstairs to cookbook*

There were no non-bake cheesecakes, but this sounds really good:

*takes out the crust part because of the oreo request*
reserve some of the crust for garnishing

Legend:
tsp: teaspoon
tsbp: tablespoon

Chill shell(crust) thoroughly.
Preheat to 350
beat 6 eggs until light.
Gradually add SIFTED sugar (1 1/2 cups)
add:
1/8 tsp salt
2 tsp grated lemon rind
1-2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla
Blend well and add to the above:
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
3 1/2 pints ( eek ) smooth cottage cheese (2 1/4 lbs)
Whip and fold in:
2 cups whipped cream
Fill pie crust. Sprinkle crust for garnish.
Bake for about 1 hour.
turn off heat and permit pie to stand in oven for at least 1 hour with door open. (until cooled seems to be the reccomendation)

Using the above cheesecake recipe, to make the oreo crust:

Crush 3/4 of a package of oreo cookies into bite size pieces, and mix with 1/2 cup of melted butter. Then press it into the pan and freeze for about five minutes.

Use the rest of the cookies to crumble up or cut into chunks and just add to the mixture.
