Much like the streets of major cities, the Canals are one of the best ways of getting around. Gondola or private boat, the choice is yours.

Gabriel gets onto a lone gondola, pushing off the dock with his foot. As the gondola moves with the aid of its driver, Gabriel looks around. He sees someone run across a bridge, dressed in all black. He shakes his head, trying to get the image out of his mind. After a bit he sees his stop. He jumps from the gondola, landing on the dock and running off.

Gabriel put one foot on a gondola before holding his hand out for Claudia to help her on board.So, you like art?

Gabriel nods to the the driver as he pushes the front of the gondola off the dock. The driver pushes the gondola's back end off the dock and they begin to move down one of the canals. Thats good to know. Art is... something that isn't appreciated as much as it used to be.

Gabriel looks up at the sky as they pass under a small bridge. You think so? Someone else from the Covenant would have come along to awaken the Elder's blood you hold inside of you. Trust me, I'm a better choice to have here then some of the people that are back in Rome. Most wouldn't have handled that other situation like I did...

Most are trained to do one thing, kill those that do things that they aren't. Since you are a new Elder, and are still learning, you would have most likely been forgiven... but he... most likely would be missing some part of himself. They didn't want to send me here because they knew that I wouldn't do things like they want.
