I figured this would be the most appropriate thing for the FIRST! topic, instead of me obsessing pathetically over my loverly favorite bands....
Um.
SO! What are your favorite bands / music styles, etc.?
Note: PLEASE don't diss people for what they like. You could say, "I think their music sucks!" or whatever, but please don't say, "You OBVIOUSLY have no taste in music if you like [______]!" That pisses me off, as I've received a lot of that. It is possible to have really good taste in music and still like Fall Out Boy. (Which, let's face it, is NOT the best band out there.)

 My favs? Hmm...
I like anything but heavy metal, really. I like musical music (like stuff from Avenue Q, Wicked, etc...), j-pop (Utada Hikaru, Cherry Galz, etc...), j-rock (Dir en Gray, Antique cafe, etc...), US pop ( surprised don't worry, though, it is mostly stuff like Cascada...), techno (Developers, anyone? xD; ), US rock (anything but Panic! @ the Disco live... The singer sucks live, I'll be blunt.), humor (stuff like Weird Al), Classical (though I like baroque and romantic styles as well. My favorite composeres are people like Beethoven, but my favorite to play are Mozart. surprised ), Jazz (Big Band's my favorite), *some* hip-hop (I don't like too much, though), and um... punk rock/ indie rock (Panic! and whatnot).
I just don't like heavy metal. I have a fear of it, and I know not why. o_o;

Anyway...I'll listen to just about anything except popular rap, 'cause that all sounds the same. Except Eminem. But any of those generic songs about <********' hos and gettin' bling and shootin' up the block is annoying. I do like hip-hop though....
Agh! So many music styles I didn't put up there! D: Like...hip-hop and alternative and comedy and stuff.....
Oh, and I love J-Rock. That's my main obsession. Metal-rock is my favorite overall, though. Like Dir en grey, AFI, Evanescence (Yeah, they suck. Shut up.), etc.

Yeah, Diru did a much more diverse range of stuff on W2d, which I actually like. But it is nice when they just do metal. They were a lot more pop-y in their older days, actually (in my opinion). But American pop, not J-Pop. Actual J-Pop is crazy. It's, like....bubblegum pop. That's the only way I can describe it.
I'm sure I do like some stuff by The Beatles. I just can't think of any. *doesn't ever listen to oldies* xD;;

I usually like to listen to rock, metal(some of it is scary, though O.o;), J-Rock & other foreign music, classical, music from anime, a few certain rap songs that I don't find annoying, and...uh... I dunno. xD I know I'm forgetting something... >.>
