Plot
A group of students were out after hours and were trying to return to their houses when the moving staircase moved on them. They then had to find an alternative route back to their houses, but they can't seem to figure out where they are. Somehow they make it into the library and one of the students picks up a brand new book thats copyright date it twenty or so years back.
They've been sucked into a time warp and are now in the time during the Marauder's sixth year. Now, they have to find their way back with the help of their headmaster, who at this time is a professor, Dumbledore.
Will they be able to find their way back? Will they be able to not change the past and in so doing, change their future and whether or not they exist in the future? Only time will tell.

Setting
Okay, the students don't know each other at all. They just happen to be out late, you can create the reason, it doesn't matter. Perhaps, some were hungry and happened into the kitchen for a midnight snack and on their way back got disorientated by the moving staircase. Or, perhaps, a student had forgotten a book in the library and had gone in that direction to retrieve it, they then retrived their book or items and were on their way back when they to were bombared by the moving staircase. Whatever the reason, several students have wound up in the past.
There will be six students, all of which who end up in the past and are from the future. Everyone else is from the past. This means we have openings for any of the Marauder's, Lily Evans, and Severus Snape.

1. This will be a literate roleplay. Therefore, I expect posts to be three to five sentences long and in paragraph form. You should be using quotations when you speak, correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
2. No power-playing or god-molding.
3. Everyone has weaknesses.
4. Please no animangi's unless your a marauder or your a character from one of the book's who has an animangi.
5. Please, for all you made up characters, try to make your character's personality fit their house. If you need help, please ask me via PM.
6. Please PM me all profiles. Title them An Unexpected Trip to the Past.

Age: Sixteen

Rian Myia
Personality: She's a rather shy person. She tends to get scared easily, and doesn't have a problem showing it. Though, she'll usually hide most of her other emotions. In fact, she has an enourmous fear of heights which is one reason why she never participated in Quidditch or would even watch it.
Since the day her parents found out what she was, she's found it much harder to trust people. This quiet girl focuses most of her time on her studies, isoslating herself from everyone else. Doing this in an attempt to keep herself safe from the pain of being betrayed by someone else that has grown close to her.
Background: She was born into a muggle family. Both of her parents divorced when she was five. She's an only child and both parents, though living in different cities still maintained constant visiting rights. Before Hogwarts she lived with her mom, and would visit her dad during summer break.
Though, when her invitation to Hogwarts arrived and her parents found out she was a witch they both had different ideas of how to take the situation. Her mother said it was a joke, and shredded the letter without another word. But another letter came, by the delivery of owl, and she called Charlotte's father up, and made him come over immediately. They shared the letter and discussed, or rather argued, what should happen in terms of Charlotte's future. Charlie, of course, was locked out of the discussion and was sent to her room where she tried to hear everything her parents said through the vents.
Decisions made, she was allowed to attend the school, but by doing so she was sent to live with her father. Her mother, wanted nothing to do with her. In fact, her mother ended up moving out of the country to keep her distance from her daughter. That alone, affected Charlie very much, and she hasn't really been the same since.
