Ok, I (and my cohort, Trin Epic aka LegendoftheEpic) have run into something of a brick wall, and so I must ask assistence from ye nice ppls, if you can spare the time and attention and critique-dness.
First, and foremost, we are in need of people willing to read our script, and willing to tell us how it REALLY is! We're not looking for 'Yes-People'; we're looking for people who can read it and go, "Ya know, that's good, but I don't get this part, and why the hell does he have a log up his nose!?"
Understand, you'll be reading a draft of comic script! Emphasis on script, and another on work in progress. We *thought* it was ready, but the companies we looked at had guidelines of what ready really was neutral So with that said, if any of you are willing to read through script (so no pretty pictures!), and tell us what you like and dislike, and if the script was written in a way that makes you wanna read the next issue! That'd be so awesome.
THE NEXT THING
We are in a really really bad need for an artist...a comic book artist. I know not all of you are comic book geeks like I am, but...an artist that can do stuff like Batman, Superman, Spider-Man, X-Men, etc. We're not looking for people who only do manga or anime, as that's not the general direction we're looking at (not that we don't love manga or anime!).
If you know someone who's willing to help collaborate, not only with a pair of artists, but a pair of artists who live far away, if you could let me know? I mean, it obviously would be nice if the artist was close to me, or to Trin (he's from New York), but equally obviously that'd be too perfect to happen just yet.
Please stress the fact that we're wanting an artist collaborator, and that we don't pay cause we're poor...we'll pay once we get picked up by a company! So, we're not *hiring* anyone...just someone who can help us out.

I can help by reading scripts and stuff, but I dont know any comic book type artists, sorry.

I'll give an opinion on the script. I only know one person who draws, and the girl only does anime so that won't do. Nor would she help if she could, I am sure.

Well, if I had time I would read it and I think that maybe I could make time.
I do know comic artists, but it's just not going to work with the ones that I know for various reasons.

Not gunna work? Won't do it? ARGH! -_- the whole world's against us!
But, yes, if you're willing to critique it, I will send it. PM me here, or catch me on a msger, let me know where to send it. Right now things are stalled until we get some opinions on this. We'd very much like to know what the general consensus is (how the story flows, consistency, etc, etc) before we work on the second and third issues.
Artists...they're really really tough to find sad I sorta tried deviantART, and even myspace and gaia, but there really isn't anyone I've run into that has that level of professionalism, and motivation, to be of much help, and it sucks cause a lot of the places we wanna submit to REQUIRE like, 5 pages of panels and art. Regardless of the fact that it's an original creator-owned property we're submitting.

Yeah there are probably thousands of people writing stuffs. So people who look at this would want something very professional. Anyhow, how do you know your good idea might not get stolen by one of these people you submit to? I have to wonder.
Well, you need to find an artist so keep looking. There are many talented people here in the art forums.

Gaia's tough; given the general theme of the board, most anyone I've run into are anime/manga artists.
And I know the companies won't blatantly steal our properties cause they make me sign fancy forms saying such razz hehehe
