An old manor built from grey brick and slate stands by the central river atop a dinky hill. The building itself looks well cared for even in its age. The archways and windowsills have recently been painted with a rich coat of a red swayed burgundy. The inner gate is fenced by a well kept hedge, and the grounds are well landscaped with ponds and flowerbeds.
This building is the second oldest of those that still stand and is well known for it’s hospitality as an inn, as well as the loose-leaf tea it serves in its café.
A small cobblestone path gently leads you from outside the gate to the pastel colored welcome mat outside the friendly oak door.
