This is a Debate, please use facts and not just opinions...Thank you...
The original... Nintendo:
Pros -· Always had capabilites to playback previous generation console games since the SNES.
· Commonly creates games with larger playback values, there are duds out there but of the games liked they aren't just over one time through.
· Reliable (in my experience) customer service and electronic equipment. Cons -· Weird controller designs (starting after the SNES console) and confusing controller configurations for games.
· Handheld games aren't in wide enough variety.
· No consoles with a built in memory yet.
Sony Corporation:
Pros -· Wide Variety and all games playable on currnet consoles. (Note: This may change due to the PS3 using Blu Ray technology... if old discs can't be read by newest system this point will be moved to the "Con" section).
· Good controller design, simple yet efective.
· Eye Toy allows for more varied fun - original creators of DDR as well. Cons -· Too many adapters neccessary.
· Small internal Hard Drive.
· Handheld console has too little a battery life.
· Main problems reported wth consoles is system freezing or seizing up.
And the Newest - Microsoft:
Pros -· Reliable and good Customer Service (again in my exerience).
· Wide variety of games, good graphics and excellent Hard Drive capacity. Cons -· Systems need to stay cool.
· No handheld unit as of yet.
· Internet access required for previous console games to be played on newer consoles.
Now is there anything you think I should add to the lists?

Yeah: Pro for Nintendo consoles- ZELDA! ^^ Hey... Ocarina of Time was given a best game of the year award. That=FACT!

It's a little late for an opinion, but I have to side with playstation for teh quiality of a large amount of games that have come out for it.

I think Microsoft is gonna put a killing blow onto Nintendo with the whole Project Natal thing.
