 the ground and trees in this forest are covered in moss, as it is filled with all sorts of wildlife. it seems somewhat peaceful for a change

Serenity runs out of the temple and into the forest. She hides behind a tree to scare Adek when he exits the temple.

Serenity jumps out from behind the tree as Adek comes out. "BOO!!!" she shouts in his face as loud as possible.

adek jumps back, startled, and instantly transforms halfway into his wolf form as his sword forms in his hand. realizing who it is, he slowly reverts back to his normal form. "please don't do that again"

Serenity getting scared by Adek's transformation and weapon being formed, backs away and scampers up a tree. "I promise never to do it again." she says in a scared shaky voice.

Serenity coutiously climbs down from the limbs of the tree. "It's this place. It's very unsettling. There is great power here that is beyond our own understandnig. I'm uneasy here too, but you need to relax. Come on." She walks up to him, still unsure of whether it's safe or not. "Please, just have fun." She ponders for a second. Her face goes from concern to idea. "I know! Let's have a contest, a little a game if you please. That shiny object that I spotted, over there," she points to her left, "Well, it's a ways off, so on the way, who ever can go the furthest on thier feet without touching the ground, using the branches to walk/run on. Get's to keep the shiny object. Okay?"

Serenity jumps back up on the branches and jumps from one branch to the next at an incredible speed. She looks back and shouts, "Remember, no special powers!!! Speed only!"

As Serenity lands on the next branch, she takes a quick glance over her shoulder and realizes she isn't winning anymore. By now, they are about 500 meters from the goal. She pushes herself harder, she wants that shiny object.
