How did you get into racing?
Me: I remember being a little kid and my grandpa coming over and turning it on and cussing out Jeff Gordon, I thought it was stupid. Then when my parents split my dad lived near Daytona and we would go to Daytona USA and we could hear the cars when they were going. I didn't start watching until last year, we went to the Pepsi 400 fan walk and I got to see Kasey Kahne, I watched the race that night and asked a ton of questions. I would watch the race, but flipping back to my shows a lot. Then in Feburary we went to the Bud Shoot Out and I've been hooked and watched the races, asked questions, watched the other nascar shows, and even read a book. Now I know more about it then my grandpa, brother, and dad.

rofl
A few years ago, my friend got a Nascar game. I played it, and got completely hooked on it. So I bought my own game, started learning about teams, drivers, etc. Then I figured out when the races are and watched them. And I guess I just got really into it.
I've never met a driver, but I'm meeting Reed Sorenson tomorrow! mrgreen

You get to meet Reed Sorenson? Nice.
I got hooked on Nascar back in 2003. My uncle has A friend or somebody who works at Hendrick Motor Sports. Long story short, I got A VIP tour of Hendrick Motor Sports. We went in July and this was A week or two before the Pepsi 400. We got to see Jimmie Johnson's American Signature (Spongebob) Pepsi 400 car and Jeff Gordon's $1 million dollar car. We wern't supposed to say anything about those until after the race. Actually, the guy taking us on the tour accidentally led us into the garage where they keep the 5 and 25 cars. There were at least 15 of each car. Wern't supposed to see that either. Let's see what else... I got to see Jimmie Johnson's Test Car (48A) and I got to meet Chad Knaus, although I didn't know who he was at the time. When we were leaving I got to but A 48 Hauler and I accidentally bought A hat that was too small for me. That's How I got hooked on Nascar. My favorite nascar game is Nascar Thunder 2003. I can honestly say I was obsessed with that game.

I wish I could get a tour of one of Roush Racing's buildings. I live too far away to do that anyway.

My dad had watched NASCAR off and on for most of my life. I started getting into in 2001. The first race I clearly remember watching was the Daytona 500 when Earnhardt died. Then that year for Christmas I got NASCAR Thunder 2002 and have been hooked ever since. We also visited Daytona USA in Feb. 2002 and saw Ward Burton's 500 winning car. Ward was my original fav. driver.
