Alright.
So it's no secret that Lolita clothing is expensive. So how do we get this money? Unfortunately, we can't all me like Momoko Ryugasaki and steal from our fathers, (are you sure that's UNfortunate, Ado?) but how else can we make money? Those of us that are old enough have jobs, but sometimes it's just not enough!
so, here I will compile LEGAL ways of making money relatively quickly, as a reference guide.
LIST:
-Getting A Job -Donating Plasma (I think you get 50 dollars there!) -Rich Parents (hahahahahahahaha....I wish!) -Lovely Additions- -Making Your Own Clothes -Selling Handmade Things At Craft Fairs -Selling On Ebay -Panhandling (XD it was too funny not to put up) -Enter Contests -Birthday Money -Selling Items You No Longer Want
hah. I need some help here. Anyone?

Blood may be illegal, but you CAN sell your plasma. There were advertisements up at my school trying to get students to sell theirs.

EGL Goddess your eggs on the other hand, I hear they go for a pretty penny! I'd be all for selling my eggs seeing how I don't "need" them, but then the thought of a half-me half-whoever hybrid child running around stops me from doing so. :C I've been selling stuff on ebay recently. Though you never know what will sell and what won't, it's still a way of making money. There's also panhandling, but that's somewhat frowned upon.

What about selling things at craft fairs or conventions? Setting up a table with a few friends wouldn't be too expensive, and [at conventions at least] EGL items would probably sell really pretty well. Even at a craft fair, if it wasn't too Loli-centric [like, say, headbands or cute scarves] it would probably sell just fine.
Also, another way [which makes sense if you're selling these items on eBay or at fairs, etc.] to save money would be to just make your own attire and accessories [which many people already do].

ah, thanks for the suggestions, everyone! keep em coming, I'll add them to my list.
I'm still sort of on the fence about adding the egg selling one....XD;
I'm thinking that one could also go through all their old stuff and give it to a consignment shop. biggrin I made around 50 bucks last time I went. but you have to set up an account with them, so don't just go and think you can drop your stuff off. ^_^;

i used to hustle things. my parents buy me alot of s**t i dont want, like cheap makeup and shitty games. so when i sold makeup for like $1 a piece i got like 15 bucks, nail polish $10. ive recenltly sold a s**t load of my clothes for 60 bucks (nothing over 5 bucks, thats alot of crap) i used to buy bags of candy from the dollar store and sell pieces for like a quarter. works great on valentines day. i had a huge bag of lollipops a roll of ribbon and a sharpie. people love those last minute gifts.
oh another school tardition, here when its your b-day people give you dollars and you pin em to your shirt. i always make around 15.
and ocasionally i sell stuff on e bay. im gonna be putting up some listings verry soon and if you intrested ill post em. handbags and a new dress i think. ill see what else i got, i need to get rid of my yugioah cards too.

Something to add to this. Perhaps there's a Farmers Market in your area? I'm actually looking into this myself, but I think in addition to fairs and conventions, if you're willing to give up a few hours on whatever day it's held in your area [for me it's every Sat. morning] and have a table of crafts there, it'd be a good source of income, I think.
I personally was thinking of selling special soaps, little trinkets, and maybe some jewlery.

I have two things, or possibly more to add.
First thing, enter contests. Maybe not huge ones but small ones should work just fine, because the deadline is usually shorter and it won't get too much attention. I just entered one for a bookmark design contest with a prize of $250CAD though they are not picking the winners yet.
Another way is birthday money, if you recieve any. I made exactly $120CAD from it just last week. Oh, and another thing I do is trying to take some of the change when my parents hand me money for things such as school. I also just keep the money if they give it for lunch because they don't want me to spend my own money sometimes and just eat when I get home. This'll only work for those who live under their parent's roof though.

I sell hand-crafted items sometimes, and I'm actually thinking about setting up an online shop soon.
For the most part I sew, make jewellery, and draw/paint.
Sewing really helps to cut the cost of clothing though, especially when it comes to alternative fashion. I only dress loli one to three days per week, and the rest of the time I dress in a romanti-goth style, so either way, clothing would be very expensive for me if I bought everything pre-made. Sewing can still be expensive, but it's cheapre than buying clothing.

One thing I'd like to mention about selling your eggs:
I've looked the subject up, since my mother has hardly any money saved for college for me. According to the sites I looked at, the whole harvesting of egg process is long and painful. And of course, there is medication and crap involved. Yes, you will be paid in the thousands [maybe from 5 to 10 thousand?] but you should really know what you're getting into.
Males however, can sell sperm. Big whoop. They take 5 minutes, ejaculate into a cup, and get money for it. Blah.

I usely work for my dad or save up my alloince (when I get it) to buy my clothes. But every once in a while I can get my mom to buy me a dress for a present, it only happened once, but if you ask for clothes as gifts, you might get some.
