The guild has a new policy officially starting this month! The member of the month!
Now, throughout the course of the month the moderators, currently Bukasha 2k and myself, will be watching the activity of the members of the guild. We'll be looking for someone who shows outstanding guild spirit. Something like helping new members feel welcome, starting a topic and getting good conversation going, showing good respect for others, reffering a bunch of new members or being active in the guild are good ways to catch our attention.
Overall, it's a way for us to thank you members for being so great. Everyone here has been so awesome since day one of starting the guild, and I'm pleased to note there have been no major issues. It's for you guys to know how great you've been, and to show it off a bit. 4laugh
A prize is not set in stone for it at the current time. You will have your avatar displayed on this page for an entire month, as well as on the profile page of the Guild mule Namonaki Pharaoh. But as far as what you will recieve, besides the glory of course, is yet to be decided. Ohkami is attempting to make banners, but needs to get photoshop first, for hers was only a trial. emo
The Member of the month for November will be anounced on December 1st.

~*Current Winner*~ December 2006 Congratulations to Queen Magician! You have been elected as the Pharaoh Phans member of the month(s) for November/December 2006! The crew had this to say about electing you: crew Queen Magician was one of the most active members in the guild for this month. She frequently contributed to conversations, as well as starting up a few new topics of her own to keep things going. She also invited a new member to join the guild, which led to several new members joining as well. Thanks for being such an awesome member! 4laugh

FAQ
Is this a contest over being the most active in the guild? No, not entirely. We are aware that everyone has a different schedule, which allows them to be online for different amounts of time. This is not a contest about how often you are on the guild or the number of posts you can make, but what you make out of the time you do spend here.
Will donating to the guild make me more likely to win the contest? Bribing us will not make it more likely for you to win ^^;. This is not about who has the most gold they are willing to throw around and give to the guild just to look good and win the contest. However, if you really make an effort to donate in order to help the guild, or the gold/items you give up are a sacrifice to you(we're not all rich gaians, I know I'm definitely not) then of course this is taken into consideration.
Does winning the contest mean I'm going to become a moderator? This is not a promotional contest, no. However, the qualities required to win this are also the qualities often looked for when choosing a moderator. So if your name comes up in the running consistently then does that heighten your chances of being chosen as the next moderator should one be needed? Maybe. ninja
Can I win the contest more than once? Of course, you can win the contest as many times as you show that you are an extremely outgoing and spirited member of the guild.
Why does so-and-so always win? What's so great about them anyway >_> Well, I can say an attitude like this certainly won't be winning it for you anytime soon. If someone wins more than once, good for them, they are doing a good job.
I've tried really hard, but I still just can't win. Am I a bad member? If you are making an effort to be the best member you can be, then you are an awesome member heart . You may not have officially won a contest yet, but I'm sure your name has come up in moderator discussions for the winner. Don't give up hope, we appreciate your efforts.
