Okay, there will be a limited number of mods, ONLY 2 mods at this time. One to be Co-Captain, and the other to just be a regular mod.
They will be on probation, if you will, meaning they will just be temps. Then a final decition will be made by me, got it?

Just thought I'd let that be known.
I'm not particularly sure whether or not I should post this here, but that can easily be remedied if it shouldn't.
I have to say, I have no idea just what moderators do.
If it's possible, would someone enlighten me on the subject?
It may be useful information for anyone else thinking about taking up the position as well.

Would they also have something to do with the recruiting?
Oh, and while I'm on it, would it be wise to recruit like crazy?
The guild could get stuffed full of... 'people'... ><

Sinse the guild is still small then moderators don't have to do much yet.
Otherwise, keep everyone in the guild in check, make sure everyone is following the rules ect. ect.
About the whole "Recruit like crazy" thing, I want the guild to have members but at the same time I don't want to invite people at random like some guilds do.
I want people who have actually read the books, or at least some of Anne's other books and stuff.
I have a thread in the "Registered guilds" forum, but otherwise that's about the only guild advertisement we have. If anyone has any ideas on how to get the guild's message across, speak now or forever hold your peace! (lol sorry, I've always wanted to say that!)

Perhaps a small banner would be nice.
...just something not particularly gaudy, yet elegant.
One specifically for recruiting, I mean.

Maybe you could ask a favor from Mage...?
He's done a couple of guild banners, hasn't he?

Actually, that thought did stir an idea in my head.
It might be interesting if we could each get our own gem.
I mean... kind of like the mood gems one sees around, only it's for the jewel of rank. And it could shine or something to catch attention and link back here.
Actually, if there's anyone who could make a shop in the guild that sells those, I'd buy one anyway. biggrin

I've set up something... I dunno what you guys would think, but it will work through the random number generator.
See, the lighter the jewel the bigger the gap between numbers.
White-1-1000
Yellow-1001-1900
Tiger eye-1901-2700
Rose-2701-3400
Rummer Sky-3401-4000
Purple Dusk-4001-4500
Opal-4501-4850
Green-4851-5100
Saphire-5101-5250
Red-5251-5350
Gray-5351-5400
Ebon Gray-5401-5425
Black-5426-5430
And a system for how many you decend will be set up once I see how you guys like this one.. >.>;;

Each jewel is determined by what number you get.
If you get.. say, 500? The jewel you have is white.
Anywhere between 1-1000, the jewel you have is white.
And, as the jewels get darker, the harder it is to get this jewel.
Notice how you can get a white jewel by getting any number 1-1000?
You can only get black between 5426-5430. Meaning, you need to be anywhere between those 5 numbers to get a jewel. Which will probably be really freakin hard, if not impossible. Simple, no?
