OK, FIRST OFF, THIS THREAD MAY OR MAY NOT CONTAIN SPOILERS.
IF YOU POST SPOILERS PLEASE PLEASE PUT THEM IN WHITE COLOR, SO IF PEOPLE CAN HAVE THE OPTION OF READING IT IF THEY SO DESIRE.

so let's kick this thread into start!

the SAW movie came out in 2004, the halloween of 2004. one of the main taglines for this movie was "Let the games begin!", and that is just what that movie did. James Wan, if i'm not wrong, is the one that directed the movie, but he also was the one who helped with the script. the storywriter was leigh whannell. whannell, if you all noticed in the credits was the person who played the part of adam. so not only did he write some of the script, he had played a major role in the film also. in this movie, it contained gore, and horror scenes. i personally thought this movie was very good, i really thought it was. i liked it, and so did millions of other people, because within one year, a second film was to be released.

SAW II, oh yeah. i'm not even sure the backround on this story, i had heard so many rumors. one major rumor, that i heard, and have spread, because it seemed to make alot of sense was, james wan wasn't involved, or atleast i don't think. the website imdb.com doesn't have him listed, instead it is darren lynn bousman, and the returning leigh whannell who came up with this story. so the rumor i heard why it wasn't so great (admitt it, it wasn't as great as the first), was because originally, a man made a horror script write up, and went to a publisher and the man said ''well, this could be made into the second SAW movie.'' and so, they contacted leigh, and made some changes and edits and booyah! there you go! Saw II! in this movie, which i thought was alright, it was very good, but as good as it was, it felt something was missing, that it was a bit.. off somehow. two of the taglines for this movie was ''New game. Different pieces.'' and "Oh, yes. There will be blood,'' and blood there was. the second movie had us all sitting on the edge of our seats, screaming at the movie, because of the end, which, amazingly, started in the same place the original SAW movie began, it also answers a few questions, as to who is this man named Jigsaw? and what happened to adam? however, as good as this movie was, it just had fans screaming for answers. and answers came, because the NEXT year,

SAW III was out in theatres and what a big hit it made. instead of leigh and james, or leigh and darren, the three decided to team up, and hey, guess what. darren directed, james made the story, and leigh was concentrating on the screen play. the main tagline for this great movie is "Sometimes Rules Are Meant To Be Broken.." and rules are broken indeed. this movie was very gory, it was great, not only did it include blood, gore, and a scene of nudity (which first time ever happening in one of the movies SAW), it also had a great storyline which answered almost all of the questions that was left unanswered from the last two movies. immediately when the film starts we are just pulled right into the movie, and for most people they realized and knew right then that this movie was going to be gory, great, and awesome. like all the SAW movies, this one was no different and provided a major story twist at the end of the movie,

leaving the fans asking "will there be another?'' days after the movie came out, several news sites reported that tobin bell the man who signed on to play the most questioned ''killer'', had signed on to do five SAW movies. this sudden report had so many fans going crazy, biting their nails, questioning "how can there be two more movies after this big move they made at the end of the third movie?" i, was infact along with them. i don't know how they can pull off a fourth, and even fifth movie. i personally am blown away.

over-all, so far, these movies make a trilogy, and i think, these are great movies. i love them, and i can't wait for the fourth and fifth to come out.

please, post your opinions or your reviews for these movies.

I liked all 3 movies. I was curious when the first came out, psyched for the second, and a little skeptical about the third.[I mean come one 3?]

They were all good though, they got better as they progressed and the gore just got more intense. Just barely into the third movie I was ready to just close my eyes. That poor man chained down. . .

Honestly, I didnt think there would be anymore, what else could possibly happen. For those of you who have seen is, You know what happens to the main 'life savers'. I thought it would end there, and it just be a trilogy, i guess i was proven wrong.

But believe me, ill watch every one that comes out, even if it kills me.

xd i knooow. i was so shocked when i heard that it wasn't going to end at three. that guy in the first scene, maaan. i felt bad for him. i would have just sat there and waited for the bomb to go off, but he ended up pulling out all the chains but that last one, and then dying anyway. gonk so, it sucks to be him!

Gah, I'm not too big on super gore movies. The saw trilogy was very interesting though. It's just good to see them, so that you can say and know that you did.

Spoiler: I have a feeling that the flashback scene will play major importance. I mean, any film student or screenwriter knows that they wouldn't add in a 30 second flashback for kicks when it doesn't match ANY of the plot. I think the girl he is with will continue the whole saw theme.
