The new image from the demo made my hope for the BS coming out within the year go from Chaotic Evil to Lawful Good.
If alignment had something to do with how the game is played, sure it would work. However, if it really does not have too much of a change between the two it would suck.

All I can say is, if alignment can be chosen, then we should be able to play as our alignment would permit.
And by that I mean I'm going to be Chaotic Evil and player kill constantly.
That's just what chaotic evil people should do, and when I get bored of killing all the high levels I'll go lowballing and head to the town where ever person starts out at and kill everyone in a historical massacre fashion.

I'm Neutral Good. I'm all for good, and I don't care how I do it. Law, Chaos? Psssh. I'll do what it takes to aid the weak... unless evil is the weak, in which case I shove thier measely little powers down thier darkness-loving mouths.

I tend to lean towards the darker side of things, so I guess i'm more of a "villain" than hero..
If I were to meet a stranger, I'd be more likely to attack them, than try and make friends.. and if someone was in danger, or being attacked, I'd sit back and watch, and then wait and see if the creature tried to attack me, to decide whether or not I'd fight it. >>;

Chaotic good Cleric.
This bad boy is a raving alcaholic whos heals do damage instead of health. Good thing his Holy Arrow ability heals, but it can only target monsters. Danm.
I would be a guild spy, joining the enemy forces and crushing them.
"Okay cleric, heal me! GLOBE will be defeated iff we can just heal.
Wait...my health is draining! Oh lord, why?!"
And then you give me my share of the spoils.

Neutral, Lawfull.
My RPC is at a bit of a crossroads in his life, and thus doesn't know which way to go in odds of friends and alignment. He's still a generally kind person and abides by his morals.
