Barefoot

[Peach Lilac]

I remember it like it was yesterday.
I was running around in my barefeet.
I was jumping out of trees after climbing to the very top.
I was swinging as high as I could so as not to be shown up by my sister.
I was telling mom about the day I had.
I was playing hide and seek with the neigborhood kids.
I was rideing my bike for the very first time.
I was cuddling in bed with Brownie, my favorite teddy.
I was smileing because I was happy.
Oh what I wouldn't give to be back in my memories, running around barefoot.

Again not perfect and I jotted it down pretty huridly. So don't be afraid to tell me it sucks. wink
