Does nusical theatre count also? i am in choir but mostly in musical theatre.

I'm not in a choir...or theatre...but I do sing with a group. We learn and sing songs from the forties and fiftyies and travel through retirement homes in the city. It's really cool actually...helped he with my vocal skills...

*raises hand* I am! I sing Bass/Baritone, and though i am classically trained (ish), I can also branch out to broadway.

I am in choir and I sing Soprano 2. I sing in the adult church choir and women's choir at school (10th grade). I have been taking voice for 3 years.

I've been in some sort of vocal training for about five years. I've done musical theatre, but I'm turned off by the attitude of most actors in my troup. I do backstage work now! AWESOMENESS.
In terms of singing, I'm in Chamber Choir and Solo+Ensembles at my school.

I sing Bass/Baritone, and though i am classically trained (ish), I can also branch out to broadway. o_O I've seen you in the IQ Society. @Arianna- Yep. smile I'm in the top choir at my high school. Yayfulness! I was a first soprano from 7th to 9th grade, and this year I've switched to second.

We don't really have a soprano/ all that choir. It's just people who sing confused
My school choir sucks, there's 50 people and only 10 or so that can sing. There's on kid that always ends up next to me who doesn't sing, he screams! DDx
Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I think I'm in the top 10 who can actually sing. Everyone always tells me so ><

I sing. I've been singing for the past 8 years.
I'm not in choir though, because our choir SUCKS. It's TERRIBLE, it's filled with the least popular people in the world and teachers. (over half of the students (which is like... 8 people?) Can't even sing) and the only place they sing for is mass.
It's really really gay.
But I have been in past community choirs, I sing Alto surpano.
I'm also in musical theatre, and outside lessons.
(one more year and I can try out for Canadian Idol! *squeels*)

I sing. I'm in a girls chior thats based around the state I live in.
I sing soprano 1 currently, and when I started out 3 years ago, I was an alto 2. In my second year I got switched to alto 3, but it was too low for me, and I switched to soprano 1 half way through the year. Now my voice is getting low, and I want to be an alto again. Alto parts are a lot more fun in my opinion.

I sing. I'm not into voice training though. I like performing musicals and I used to be lead vocal in my band before i moved. cry I still sing no choirs but i try... I usually like to sing on a higher note never on a sad day.
