I currently have my feet in this tradition, mainly just study, study, study so far. I have slavic heritage, and it feels like I'm drawn to all the traditions, and mythology, and different spirits and gods/goddesses. Its really neat. For anyone who is interested in learning a bit about it, this is a good website. http://members.aol.com/hpsofsnert/index.html

My college offers a Russian mythology/fairy tale course, which unfortunately I have (so far) been unable to take. I did, however, make a point of picking up some of the recommended texts from the bookstore. (I'm also of Russian/Polish/Serbian origin, my grandparents were both immigrants.)
This was the most helpful book I picked up, Linda J. Ivanits seems to turn up a lot in terms of academic Slavic paganism work:

Wicca is pretty new. And is a combination of many different traditions, not just 'witchcraft' actually it adds masonic, esoteric, hermetic, the celtic druids and such things like the Golden Dawn traditions. Gerald Gardener pretty much 'took' alot of things from other traditions into making wicca. So in technicallity. It isnt British.

While I agree that Gardner took from many traditions those mentioned above as well as some Cerimonial Magic, I would argue that since he blended hese traditions into to something new or something that no longer holds the core tenants from that which he borrowed, the religion is British. That, and often when people refer to the Lord and Lady worshiped in Wicca they call them the Wiccan Lord and Lady of the British Isles, but I might be wrong. After all how other people lable things does not make them so.

I worship* Rod, the Slavic supreme god/principle, as well as the other Greater Pantheon. This is because I have found that I have a calling to Slavic culture, and I reacently found I have Croatian/pan-Slavic heritage, so it's in the blood. *By worship, i mean connect.
For all who concider this path, yet find it's websits difficult, I will list the Greater Patheon that i worship*:
-Rod: The most ancient Deity of the Pantheon. Creator and Life Principle. -Dazbog: a Solar deity of Giving and Life. His Creatrix/consort is Rodzanica. -Jarilo: the wiccan God for the Slavs. He represents the natural process of life-death-rebirth, which he plays yearly -Marzanna: Goddess of harvest and witchcraft, and later, Death -Perun: the Lightning god; purifier and up keeper of Order -Siwa: fertility and love Goddess -Svarog: fire God, and all things associated with it. -Triglav: a trinity Deity of Svarog, Perun and Dazbog. Represents holiness and the all-seeing divinity. -Veles: the Slavic horned God of the Earth/cattle, waters and Underworld - Zorya: goddess of Beauty.

I found that site awhile back, and it's on my favourites. It is a VERY good site, with lots of awesome information on it. I have no specific religious leanings and so I was very interested in learning about this, under explored branch of Paganism.
Though as far as I know, I have no Slavic roots.

Yes, however the religion still isn't Wiccan therefore the site is NOT about his 'Wiccan' faith. I could use Native American Gods in MY beliefs, it doesn't therefore turn their beliefs into mine.

Though, as it has been torn to pieces in many guilds and threads, debates and books, I feel compelled ot point out that your not Wiccan if your not intiated into a lineaged coven. You may have wiccan leanings to your faith, but wicca is not a religion that is shared in its entirety with ousiders.
