This was my favorite movie when I was 7 and 8... I had all the dolls, the bed sheets, the sleeping bag, and bunches of other stuff. My friend and I watched it once, and we got SO mad at Nacoma... we were screaming at the tv! lol!

That's one of my favorite Disney movies. I loved Colors of the Wind and Just Around the Riverbend. I got those 2 songs on my Kareoke Machine, xd Anyways, I loved Flit and Meeko, they were so cute. But I didn't really enjoy the 2nd Pocahontas. Seeing Pocahontas with another John was just too hard to bear. gonk

Man that use to be my favorite movie. I had the songs, the dolls (the good ones), tee shirts, ect. But I was also younger and it was when I read the book about Pocohontas that I began to not like it as much (I'm much more of a book and computer fanatic than a tv one.).

I used to like this one a lot... well, until my sister started playing it tice a day for a little more than 3 months straight. You can really get sick of a movie pretty fast that way... I've regained a lot of talerance for it though.

The historical innaccuracy kinda weirded me out the first few years. After all, she died at age twenty-two, the age she appears in the movie. I've gotten over the shock by now, though.
I love the interaction between Meeko and Percy. They're great. Thomas is a sweetheart. He deserves cake.
The music is fantastic. Every song. I get really choked up with "If I Never Knew You". "Colors of the Wind" gives me shivers. "Mine" is just fun. "Steady as the Beating Drum" is my favorite, though. It's got that great...well, beat!

I agree with Jojo-san, all the songs were really amazing. And I got rather annoyed at the historical innaccuracy at first too. But oh well. I don't really have a special liking for one character, although I think Pocahontas is very cool and Thomas is just so sweet. You can't even be mad at him for shooting one of the indians. I really liked the second movie, actually. I did like John Smith in the first movie, but then there was the other John and I was just sold for his funny little ways.

I loved Pocahontas, though my dad used to ruin it every time I watched it by reminding me of her untimely death. Despite that I loved the film, especially the dog. For some reason I thought he was just the cutest! I haven't seen the second one, but perhaps I'll get round to it soon...
Also, we used to play make believe games of being Pocahontas in primary school (the cringeworthiness of it all!), it's amazing how easily you can pretend when you're a kid though. In your mind you're an Indian sitting next to a waterfall. In reality you're sat on the grass in your school uniform! ^ ^

I still have a Pocahontas doll (kind of a plushie with yarn hair), then I also have a Pocahontas barbie and John Smith as a ken doll. The barbie is so cool cause leaves appear on her dress when the sun shines on it...
