Currently I watch PGSM at SailorScouts.org. And I was wondering if anyone else watches them. So they could tell me what the characters are saying. Like for instance what does "mina" mean in Japanese?

Like for instance what does "mina" mean in Japanese? Minna means everyone. They usually say Minna-san, because it is more polite. (San, of course, is what they add onto the ends of Japanese names. It is like the American Mr, Miss, or Mrs.)

I haven't seen the Pretty Guardian Sailormoon because it's impossible to get over here but I've been on the official sites and seen many photos and clips. I think the story line is interesting enough but I personally think the wigs a little too obvious and the Senshi outfits a little tacky, I dunno since I haven't seen it but I think it looks like a step too far.

It's interesting enough. Fun to watch, especially if you're a long time Sailor Moon fan. You actually get used to the wigs and costumes.
I love the ballet fighting style and the youma that look like they came straight out of Dr. Who. It's just nutty enough to work.

mermaidmelody33 What's a Pretty Guardian Sailormoon? Is it that series where real Japanese people wearing Sailormoon Costumes? PGSM is basically a live action sailor moon. So far it's gone through the Dark Kingdom, but the story line differs greatly from both the anime and the manga. As I said in my first post, it's... interesting. But lots of fun. I use it to torment people with, occasionally.

I think the scene u saw was when Princess Serenity possesed Sailor Moon and she became all powerful and she deflected Queen Beryl's attacks by absorbing the power in her stick and then sending the shot into the ground. Which made the explosion every time QB attacked.

Yes I have seen it, and it is cool, I have the picture on my binder of all of them standing together, but I prefer the anime better. (sorry) sweatdrop
but that doesn't mean I don't like it! cause I do like it!

i watch pgsm and i downloaded it with subtitles at www.animesuki.com . so yeah. i've only gotten up to like episode...34-ish. i've watched all the little specials and episode 0 though. ah...i love it. i can't decide who my favorite is though.

((also adds)) ive seen the images captured instead of watching so basically just looking at snapshots of PGSM and ive viewed it all through till the ending...and there is supposedly a special dvd special for those who want to know the ending and well...no offense...didnt quite like that but overall its quite enjoyable 3nodding
