Hello and welcome to The Guardians. I created this because I felt like making a Code Lyoko rp. I came up with this because I made a character up and the storyline just fell in with it. Anyways you should go visit the Table of Contents. smile

Yes, I know, rules. We all hate them but we need them to. So here is the list of rules for The Final Battle.
1. No Godmodding, it's just stupid to make your character all powerful.
2. No cybering, just eww.
3. Literacy is a must, that means no chatspeak or such.
4. Romance allowed but keep it pg-13.
5. Three to five sentences for every post, I will allow shorter if you have a writers block. But otherwise just keep to the regular 3-5.
6. Pm your character choice to me with the title, Seven Pillars.
7. No mary-sues, gary-sues. Everyone has flaws and weaknesses.
8. I would like it if someone were to actually pick out and play the cannons instead of just made-ups.
9. While you rp here, you can have up to three characters.

XANA attacks, they defend. The five had gotten used to the routine. Now Jeremy, Aelita, Yumi, Ulrich, and Odd are Seniors. It is the start of their last year together. They all say that they will stay in touch, but all of them know that it is most likely only Jeremy and Aelita will even call each other. If XANA were to find out that they will be leaving soon he would just wait until the time comes and then start to act up, with nobody to oppose him. They cannot allow that. Fortunately it seems that XANA does'nt know this. He simply wants them crushed and is pulling out all the stops. On nearly the last day of their Junior year, he sent Jeremy a challenge that, on the day of their new school year, the final battle would take place. So while they had spent the summer together and practicing their skills, XANA was quiet. Then during their dinner, all hell broke loose. A new student walked past their table, saying one thing. "The final battle has begun." It took them a few seconds to figure out what he meant, and when they did they ran after him. He walked out of the doors, and when they followed him out the door they found him gone. Then the monsters came. Every creature that they had ever fought, was there. They headed towards the factory and found little resistence. But when they got to the scanners and got virtualized, they found out why. XANA had over five thousand monsters waiting for them. They only managed to destroy a hundred. They were surrounded, the nearest enemies were only ten feet away. Then the seven pillars appeared and the seven figures on top. One made of blue fire; the second made of water; the third made of black lightning; the fourth made of rock; the fifth made of swirling air; the sixth made of light; and the seventh made of darkness. Each figure was surrounded by the element of the pillar. As one they started to recite something. After they finished, the area extending past the pillars... disappeared. It simply vanished along with the mosters. Then the pillars vanished. The seven stood around Odd, Ulrich, Aelita, and Yumi. Most of the figures stood watching the five, but several were looking at a figure wrapped in black and surrounded by darkness. She stood slightly farther away from the others, as if she had been betrayed and never fully trusted them again, possibly staying only as a last gift to her creator. Then the one surrounded by blue fire spoke only one phrase "We are the guardians."

Backround: After XANA first became sentient, one of Hoppers first moves was to create a guardian for each region. There were originally seven sectors of Lyoko, but XANA managed to destroy all but the forest, mountain, desert, arctic. When they were destroyed, the guardians moved to the other sectors or became wanderers. The water guardian stayed in the arctic, the wind became a wanderer, the fire stayed in the desert, the rock stayed in the mountain, the dark and light moved to the core area of lyoko, and the lightning became a wanderer. HE is a skill fighter and incredibly accurate shot. He never goes to Earth and can always be found in the mountain sector roaming the many pathways, untill called to fight. Adun was also not programmed with eyes, but rather he uses his aura of lightning to sense things in the air, through energy displacement. After the initial start Ulrich was the first to recover. "Who are you and what do you want." he said as he held his sword in stance. Then afterwards they all started to recover fairly quickly and then they were all asking questions to fast and at once. "Hold on, haven't we seen you before." Aelita said as it became quiet. The one surrounded by blue fire once again spoke, "Yes, I believe you have." he said, a smile still playing on his mouth. He could see that they were still trying to place him so he turned to Odd and asked, "How are the meatballs and gravy?" Then they remembered the last place that he had been seen. He had been the one who told them about the last battle. "Hey hold on. Why did you tell us about this battle, were you trying to get us killed?!" Ulrich said his sword at his side, but still easy enough to attack with. "No, we did not wish to kill you." said a voice from one of the seven, it being impossible to tell who. "If we did, Maxwell would not have warned you about the army ready to destroy your cafeteria. Also we would not have warned you about the crabs that are coming up behind you." As he spoke, the one surrounded by blue fire, identified now as Maxwell raised his arm and pointed at Yumi's head. He spoke an uncomprehensible word and then the fire surrounding him snaked out towards the direction of his hand. Then he spoke another word and the blue fire exploded in the shape of a dragon that flew straight past Yumi's head, passing with barely an inch to separate from her head. Ulrich, Odd, and Aelita all turned to look back and after a couple of seconds Yumi did the same. They had barely enough time to see the dragon breathe blue fire and then roar, before retreating the exact same route back to Maxwell's outstreched hand. "Who are you?" she whispered. "We are the guardians of Lyoko. We have been awaiting the time when we could finally help." Maxwell said. "Why didn't you ever help us before?!" Odd shouted. "We couldn't." Maxwell said. "If we did, we wouldn't have been able to carry out the vow that was programmed into us." As he said this, some of the others looked with different facial expressions at the one surrounded by darkness. "We cannot tell you more now, but we shall be in contact. We will send you an email that you will not be able to miss." As he said this they started to dissapear. "Wait!" Aelita cried. "Do you know where my father is?!" she shouted but to no avail, they were gone.

The Guardian of Lightning, Adun walked through the mountaion sector after vanishing and came upon two krabs, still going to the fight, He jumped in front of them and pulled his gun out. The krabs looked down at him and charged up power for a blast. As they fired Adun flipped onto one of their backs and racked his claw over the mark, cutting it open and destroying it. He used the explotion to leap up high and shoot the other at long range, hitting it square on, destroying it too. He landed and setteled on top of a spire, letting his aura of lightning spill out across the air giving him a good sense of what was out there

Rana remained apart from the others, simply watching. Darkness swirled slowly about her as her ruby-colored eyes remained fixed on the four Lyoko Warriors.

Adun kept walking the many ridges and jumping on the spires. he came to the edge of the sector and sensed Rana, another of the guardians watching the Lyoko warriors in sector five. He shook his head as if to say "I can't believe I'm doing this" and he transfered to sector five. He walked through a corridor and came to where the warriors had just been, surrounded by him and his fellow guardians and he 'looked' around, really using his lightning field, and found Rana. He jumped up and landed next to her.
