Sleeping on her side as to not upset her swollen belly dreams of the night where she had concived the child stirring within her stomach. The ears of the black and green Maned wolf twitched with every rustle of the grass she lay near.
It was the longest she had ever spent with anyone, the male he had grown on her. Before she realized it she was falling fast, fast for him, something she never wanted to do. Then suddenly everything flew by in a blur. Next thing she knew she was laying beside the dark colored male with the cyan stripes upon his back.
Panicing she realized what had happened with the aroma hit her hard and fast. Fear raced through her and was visible upon her features as she backed up slowly. "No....no." Shaking her head she turned running at full speed trying to get away afraid of what was going to happen afraid of being her mother..."
Waking up in a cold sweat her head was up as a cramp happened. Pain coarsed through her body as she could feel the pup inside of her moving. "Ugh." Was all the normally emotionless maned wolf could manage.

Continuing forward, the female maned wolf sighed. She was running from something, she knew, but she didn't much want to think about it.
As she moved, a slight breeze rustled her fur. But it did more than that, it also brought to her the smell of another, a female. She smelled slightly stressed out, if not a little fearful. Res flicked her ears forward and scanned her surroundings. She was in unfamiliar territory, and she didn't want to cause any unnecessary trouble.
Moving cautiously forward, she continued to keep an eye open for any other creatures. Within the minute, she spotted a rather round female maned wolf, laying on her side. She blinked.
Resee hadn't met anyone outside of her family, really, and so this was all new to her.

Conceled carefully in the shadows of the grass near the black and green wolf, was a newly grown snake, just free of his baby skin, the color of the sky, speckled with an even lighter hue here and there. A slight hiss came from the reptile as the other wolf neared, and he flickered his tongue, taking in both of their scents, though he was now thoroughly familiar with that of the green and black female, though this time her scent had changed, yes.
She was closer to birthing now. Cielos'azules slipped from the shadows momentarily to move closer to the pregnant female, giving off so much warmth, it was unfair that he himself was cold blooded, and unable to make warmth of his own. He curled in on himself again, closer to the wolf, and waited...she was close...so warm....

The pain filled her as she cried out in pain again as her belly cramped again trying to let the child within her out. "The pain..." Was all she managed to get out as sweat poured out of the wolf under the strain of giving birth, or attempting to atleast.
Sweat trickled down into her eyes as she blinked it away. It was then that she noticed the snake and the other. "Help..." was all she could manage

Resee's eyes widened as she heard the murmurings of the other. She was in pain, calling for help. But they were faint calls. Something was wrong.
Without even thinking, she rushed forward and was by the other's side in a matter of seconds. Her nose twitched as she moved her head to the side and looked her over. Her stomach was round... pregnant? She had never seen a pregnant maned wolf before, nor helped one in birth or anything. And from the looks of it, though she was merely guessing, this female was about to give birth.
"Aah--" What on earth could she possibly do to help? She'd never done this before!
"Uhm... okay! Just.. uh.. just breathe. Yeah, breathe. Uhm.. you need to calm down..." Was she calm? Did she need to be calm? Gah, she was horribe at this! Some mother she'd make.
"Geez... I've never done this before so uhm... I'm sorta guessing." Probably not the best thing to say to a maned wolf about to give birth, but hey, she was inexperienced and didn't know much. It would be hard to bluff her way through this.
"Maybe just... uhm... ohno."

The snake just sat with a bemused look upon his features, or whatever could possibly be called features, for a snake. He gave his tail another slight flick and then uncurled, slithering a bit closer again, bold move for a small creature. "I don't ssssssee how I could be of much assssissstance, though I can sssstay here and talk with you so you don't have to focusssss mainly on the pain...." Cielos trailed off, forked tongue sliding forth from inside his mouth a few times as he rested next to her, willing to keep her company, especially when she was supplying him with so much warmth.

Her breathing had been shallow as pain surged through her once more. Slowly she took deeper breaths, but it was hard for her since it seemed that every time that she took a breath pain would course though her body. "Water please.........." She managed to get out barely as her breathing was harsh and shallow but she tried to take deep breaths.
"Anything to get rid of the pain."

Resee perked her ears. There was a snake nearby, she could see it. But was it a threat? She had only heard of the creatures, and she had heard that some had deadly bites. Did this one have one? Blinking, she tilted her head and leaned in a bit closer to get a better look at the slithering thing.
But she was interrupted in her thoughts as she heard the other maned wolf say something. Turning her attention back towards the other female, Res nodded her head. Water.
Immediately she took off, heading towards the watering hole that she knew was nearby. Once she reached it, she didn't hesitate to dip her muzzle into the cool waters and hold some of the liquid in her mouth. Once she felt she had gotten enough, she hurried back towards the pregnant female.
Not wanting to lose any of the water, she didn't speak. Rather, she nosed the other female to tell her to open her mouth a little so that the water could be transferred.

The sky colored snake grinned at the multi-colored wolf that had joined him in approaching the female, as she eyed his curiously. "I'll be of no harm, just mooching off the warmth." He said quietly, s's slurred as he rasped quietly. He flicked the end of his tail a little and then turned to the pregnant female. "Just try to relax....." He trailed off, hoping that the two cents he could put into the conversation would be of at least a little help.

Managing to open her maw she accepted the water greatfully, "Ugh." More pained coursed through the wolf's body. Whatever was causing the pain was about to come out. Taking more and more breaths she prayed that it would be over soon, it was taking a long time

The water transferred to the other female, Resee found herself unable to do anything other than wait. She felt that there wasn't much else she could do. This maned wolf was pregnant, and no one but herself could help the pup out. Blinking, Resee sat down and curled her tail around her body. Then, she waited.

The water was extremely helpful for the currently in pain maned wolf. Suddenly her head jerked backwards in pain, as the child in her womb was trying to come out. Gasping she forced herself to relax despite the pain that coursed through her body. 'Push, push' She told herself and finally the pup was born. Siria looked at her with a soft smile and nuzzled her gently as she struggled to get to her mothers stomach to 'eat'. If only Siria new this was only the begining of her path to insanity. The small bluish-green pup crawled to her mothers stomach drinking her milk before curling up and sleeping as her mother nuzzled her gently
