Male Character has been selected: Gaia Name: Arlan17 Name: Ralon Race: Half Demon, half human Age: Around 100, but looks about 25 Gender: Male
Personallity: He is really a happy-go-lucky guy, but on the outside he appears quiet, cool, and hard because nothing seems to cause him to react. But as said before he is a happy person who enjoys life and a good fight. Though it is hard to make him loose his temper, if you do run for your life. He is also highly sarcastic.
Background: Ralon is the son of a poly-demon(demon who has random or changing powers) and a human. Because of his mostly human appearence he fit into human society fairly easily and even has some close human friends. He also contained enough power to hold his own among other demons. After his human mother died he left his home and began traveling around doing odd jobs and having a good time. His father's location is unknown: he left shortly after Ralon's 19th birthday.
Appearence:
Short, messy-looking navy hair that falls over his forehead, but does not cover his eyes and hangs down to base of the neck in the back and covers his slightly pointed ears. His eyes are a brilliant blue. He is finely muscular and because of that he usually goes around shirtless with baggy pants on and chunky, but flexable shoes. He also always wears something on his hands and/or upper arms.

***~The Story~***
Long ago, a world in which humans and angels were living in peaceful harmony, in incredible unison, they lived happily for many centuries.... The King of the Angels had a wonderful friendship with the King of all Humans, and maintained a peaceful life to both humans and angels for many years....
However, the Devil Queen, whom lived under the ground, in an intensified hellfire, didn't like the mutual relationship between Humans and Angels, and wants to separate the two races. So, the Devil Queen sends out her minions to destroy both races.... But the Angels are future-predicters, and sensed this attack, and the Humans and Angels cooperated on the assault, and then they made the enemy flee. They continued to live in harmony for a long time.
Things changed in the year 3,000. Things were the same since they chased off the Devils 1,000 years ago. A subject of the King of the Angels killed the Queen of All Humans. This death affected the relationship between Humans and Angels, and the Devils were quite pleased with this situation. The Humans began to treat themselves as traitors of the Angels, and then, suddenly, sided with the Devils, believing that they will rule the world. What they don't realize is that if an Angel and a Devil would wed to become the rulers of the world, there would be a disbalance..... If that were the case, one would have to be of the same race as the other.....
The world is sinking even more to it's path of destruction.....

Here is where we begin our tale...
Marina Lionheart, the daughter of the current King of the Angels, is in the Palace Garden, feels like everyone is rejecting her rule as Queen when her father dies. Since her mother is dead, and her father is ill also, the Angels of their home world of Serenity Haven, feel that Marina isn't qualified to rule their kingdom, because she seems sweet and cheerful, and her father is a completely opposite, serious and strong. They also fear that she might get along with a Demon (or Devil), since she is very social. The people keep spilling gossip about the young Princess, and Marina keeps getting upset about it.
"If only they can stop such things, I really wish I wasn't an Angel sometimes...." She said, and let out a sigh.
That night, she escaped from the castle walls along with her pets, Coco, Kiki and Tifly, and went inside a nice tavern in the Human world (She has transformation abilities, so she changed herself into a regular human so she wouldn't have problems. It was ratherly nicely decorated with peach-color curtains, table covers with a cream-style color, and the tables were all of pure wood. Hearing the piano player playing his piano, she realized that the humans weren't so evil after all. But at anytime, a Devil can enter the tavern, so she always kept her guard up with a hidden sword, which was invisible, in cased if anyone sensed an Angel and attacked her....

Ralon wondered around the town he had just entered. He had left the Devil's world many years ago to 'find his father' who had gone missing even longer ago, but he's gotten sidetracked too many times and now he was just travelling to where ever he could get money or food.
In his almost aimless wonderings he been sidetracked to the human world for 20 years or so (he lost count some time ago). It wasn't hard for him to fit in with the humans: his appearence was mostly human except for slightly pointed ears which were no problem with the length of his hair.
Ralon finally found a tavern that didn't look too bad and entered. The piano player was playing one of his favorite human tunes and he had to restrain himself from dancing and at hearing the tune he was put in an even better mood. He took a seat at an empty table a proceeded to order a small meal from the waitress.

Marina, still in the tavern, disguides as a human, gets an unpleasant feeling while she sits on her chair with her beloved pets. She asked a waiter for a small drink and some miso stew. A few minutes later, her meal arrives at her table. She eats it, and gets a wonderful appetite. Delighted, she gives the waiter the money and additional tip, saying, "Keep the dough, you served great." The waiter smiled, and left to the kitchen.
All of a sudden, her angel senses begin to give her a stomach. This shows that a devil is inside her location. She looks at an individual, (disimulating, of course) and the feeling gets worse by the second.... She keeps on reflecting the pain, but in one point it will be too hard to bear....

As he ate he got the distink feeling that he was causing some discomfort to one of the humans. He didn't know exactly how, but he could just tell these things. While eating he glanced around to see if he could disern the non-comfortable human.
His eyes eventually fell on a young girl eating an unusually small amount of food, or at least what Ralon considered to be a small amount of food. Ralon studied her when ever she wasn't looking and eventually got the feeling that she wasn't human. If she was an angle, that would explain her discomfort and if she was a devil she probably would have attacked him by now. He didn't have the best reputation with most of the other devils.
When she glanced up again, he made eye contact with her...

She noticed a young man looking at her. Getting buterflies on her stomach, she blushed and turned away. Her black cat, Coco, purrs at her and climbs around her neck, eventually on her head, goes on circles in her hair, and eventually ends up sleeping. Her white cat, Kiki, lets out a small meow. And her Pixie, Tifly, just flies above her head, looking at the surroundings. Marina ends up giggling on what her pets are doing. She tries and gets up to go to the man, but eventually, her nerves got the best of her, and she fell on her seat. Then, she blushed in embarrasment. She tries to stand up again, but the same thing happens again. Giving up, she waited there, and her pin got worse every time she looked into his eyes...

Ralon sensed that he was causing her more discomfort. Whether from his gaze or the fact that he was a demon, he did not know. Either way he contumplated just leaving the tavern. Somehow decided he could not do that.
As one of the girl's cats crawled up to he head he couldn't help smile. For the long time he'd been in the human world, he had not had much contact with human animals and they fasinated him.
After he finished his food he got up and walked over to her and said, not really knowing what else to say for he was not a conversation starter, "Greetings. How are you this evening?" He knew he sounded strange, but he really didn't care. Then indirect way most humans talked annoyed him.

When she noticed that he was talking to her, and he sounded kind of strange, but she didn't pay attention to the way he said it, her heart began to beat faster by the second. Coco got nervous, expecting whatever from the man, and hid behind her. Kiki just stayed exactly where she was, and Tifly sensed that the man was gentle, and got closer to him.
Marina began to feel uneasy, but this time, she managed to get her cool and stayed calm without him noticing her changes. However, her human transformation wasn't going to last any longer; she can only last a certain period of time as a human. She knew that she had to leave quick, but she couldn't just leave the poor guy hanging. So, taking a deep breath, she answered, "Well, I'm doing fine, and what about yourself?"

Ralon was amazed that she had answered him, despite how weird he sounded.
"I'm fine," he replied. Only problem was he had no idea what to say now. So to solve the problem he simply told the truth. "I'm not good at conversations, but I wanted say I like your cats. I haven't seen many cats around here." He knew that sounded even odder than saying 'hi' in the first place, but he was one of those personalities that didn't really care.

After he said such, she giggled. After a little giggling, she continued, "I just realized that you're not much of a conversation person. Oh, and thank you. My cats have been with me for centu.... I, I, I mean, years! Well, these kind of cats aren't found too much in this place. You see, I'm not from here.... I'm from the other continent."
She began to sweat, not to reveal her identity. And then she says, "And from what I can tell, you aren't from around here, are you?" She looked at his clothes and realized this. "Those clothes aren't from around here, in case if you're wondering."
