 The Hatake Kakashi Discussion
"Those in the ninja world who break the rules and regulations are called filth, but those who don't care about their companions... are even lower than filth."
Hatake Kakashi is the Jounin assigned to Team 7, consisting of Uchiha Sasuke, Haruno Sakura, and Uzumaki Naruto. Later on in the series we come to find that Kakashi aquired a Sharingan Eye, special to the Uchiha clan. A real mystery in itself. Later, Kakashi takes special care of Sasuke after the curse was placed on him. Trying to train him, and trying to keep him in Konoha. When that fails, he decides to start training more on his own, and in the Two and a half year time, he was able to advance to the Mangekyo Sharingan, which is seemingly impossible seeing that the only way to aquire the Mangekyo is when you have killed your best friend, and he already spoke before that all his friends are dead, including the very person in which gave him the Sharingan, Uchiha Obito.

Why you love/hate him.
I love Kakashi mainly because of his character. I adore his laid-back, sarcastic and funny personality. I like how good a teacher he is in terms of how he is with his students. He's able to see beyond his students and encourages them and comforts them. Of course he does talk tough when he has too but he always does everything with love. ^_^
* Favorite Moment.
- his fight with Zabuza (totally cool)
- whenever he encourages everyone
- when he said that he truly believed Naruto could surpass Yondy
- when he lecured Sasuke in the tree (showed parenting)
- when he first meets the team (hilarious xD)
* His role in the Team.
Besides the teacher, he also is the one that sees each of the memebers individual potential and strength. And also is their guide throughout the ninja world and their own past problems.
* How did he get the Mangekyo?
Not sure...but I believe it has to do with strength and mind rather than killing your best friend.
* Why is he so high strung on training Naruto?
There are many reasons we can consider.
- he wants to make Naruto stronger and make him surpass the 4rth himself.
- make him stronger so that he can fight Akatsuki
- so he won't die
- to protect Naruto from Sasuke
- to avoid the same mistake he might think he commited with Sasuke
- so that Naruto can bring Sasuke back.

Why I love him.
many reasons, really. he has a whole lot of mystery to his persona; and i love mysterious characters. but not only that... he also has his purposely-foolish; sarcastic; funny; caring personality to him aswell... which is most unusual for most characters like him in other animes. so he's very different. and i love different.
Favorite Moment.
if i could choose one moment... i'd probably have to pick the survival training and when he had first met team 7. this was when i first started taking an interest in him... and honestly my overall favourite part of the series.
His role in the Team.
sensei. but later on... [more so after the timeskip] i see him as more of a friend to the team rather than a teacher.
How did he get the Mangekyo?
i... don't quite remember. i don't think they even showed how he did... i just presume he somehow managed to achieve it during the timeskip, and then suddenly used it... i dunno. :/
Why is he so high strung on training Naruto?
because he believes that naruto can surpass the 4th hokage. and... probably many other reasons why; but i haven't really pondered over that too much.

Why you love/hate him.
I like him, but I don't love him. And I like him because he's hilarious, he's loyal, and extremely caring. Plus he's mysterious, to an extent. There's also Kakashi Gaiden.. I like him because of his past, yes.
Favorite Moment.
-When he first meets Team 7 and tells them that he hates them.
-When he admits to Naruto two-and-a-half-years later that he's starting to really like him, and scares the poor boy so much that he causes him to lose his concentration. xD;
His role in the Team.
Sensei, of course, but I've always thought of him as more of a father-figure toward the three of them; Sasuke especially. Though sometimes he acts as though he's their age, a father is usually what I see him as.
How did he get the Mangekyo?
Like hell if I know.

Because he, uh.. wants Naruto to rescue Sasuke? Because.. he's making up for when he didn't train Naruto? Because.. of other reasons I have yet to think of..

* Why you love/hate him.
Love him. He was my first Naruto Bishi. And I will always remember that. I mean, you just cant forget. My friend Leah got me a Chibi Kakashi key chain for christmas I used to be so obsessed. I think it was his mysteriousness or maybe his laid back attitude. And his love his team.
* Favorite Moment.
1. When he first met them and said that he thinks they are all idiots. XD
2. The Genin Exam. Man was that funny. He scared the crap out of them just to say "You passed"
3. Zabuza x Haku fight.
4. Training Sasuke.
5. Not really a favorite. But memorable. The look on his face as he picks up near dead Naruto after the fight with Sasuke.
6. His fight with Deidara, though I love Deidara.
7. When he admits that he actually likes Naruto. And how he has been training him.
* His role in the Team.
Sensei. Father figure. Brother. I see him more of a brother to the rest of the team. Secret lover to Sakura . But definately brother seeing he acts like Sasuke and Naruto put together. XD
* How did he get the Mangekyo?
Im still trying to figure that one out. Maybe the guilt finally got to him. Or he just realized everyone is gone. >.< I dunno. Isnt Gai is best friend or w/e. Lolx.
* Why is he so high strung on training Naruto?
I dont think he wants to lose Naruto like he felt he lost Sasuke. I think like the rest of the team, he feels that he could of done more to keep him. And he doesnt want to lose another team member. Plus he knows how much he wants it. How much he wants to become stronger. And he is well aware that if he doesnt help him. That he will go to someone else. Plus the Akatsuki, and you know he holds a grudge on Itachi for messing with his mind.

* Why you love/hate him. I love Kakashi because of his personality. He can be so laid-back and care-free, reading perverted novels, then the next moment protecting his teammates and friends, never allowing himself to give up...He's so awesome. I <33 him...Teehee.
* Favorite Moment. Have to say the moment during the chuunin exams when Sound used the genjutsu to put everyone to sleep and he saved Sakura when she was all worried. KakaSaku fan. <33 And then, of course, the moment when Sakura punched the ground in part two.

* Why is he so high strung on training Naruto? As said, seeing Sasuke leave after all he did to help him probably frightens him. He doesn't want the same to happen to Naruto. He probably also regrets not training Naruto at the times of the chuunin exams, but instead focusing on Sasuke.

He's just so incredibly weird and also puts an enlightenment on a sad moment. I don't think he's the best teacher in the world, but at least he's trying. I also like how he's mysterious and aloof and extremely intelligent.
I like the guys intelligent. (Save for Naruto.)
It was in one of the recent chapters of the manga, but when he told Naruto that he 'really liked him' and Naruto was like 'WTF, man?! O_O'
I was cracking up so bad.
Oh and sorry if I spoiled it for anyone.
He's definitely got an important role in the team. He shows that he cares about the team, even though he doesn't seem like it. He can definitely find himself in it, since his former team is so similar to it. It's also obvious that Kakashi is learning just as much from Team 7 as they're learning from him. I know that he'd sacrifice his life for his team any day.
How did he get the Mangekyo?
How should I know? Some enlightenment, please. Hopefully he didn't have to kill anyone for it.
Why is he so high strung on training Naruto?
I think it's because he feels that he's responsible for how strong Sasuke is now, and he wants to train Naruto in return for the mistakes he's made. Plus, he can see the potential in Naruto, and the first instinct for a teacher, when they see potential, is to get it to flourish.

Kakashi PWNS, that's why! : Okay, I like Kakashi because he teaches his Team about being ninja and going along with the rules, but ALSO about life lessons. He cares deeply for his team, and treats them like family.
Also, he reads naughty books and is just cool. And a loser. At the same time. <33333

xD Episode 101! Um...more in the storyline, I'd say that the "Ties-Sasuke-Up-With-Wire-And-Lectures" was pretty awesome.

What IS there to hate? I don't think, in the entire fandom, there is someone who'd hate him. So basically, I love everything about him. Except when he doesn't train Sakura as much as his two other students.

I'm glad that Naruto and Sasuke finally get a father figure. I don't really like how he favors them more than Sakura, though - I've never seen him single Sakura out for training.

I think he trained for it. That would give Kishi an excuse to give Sasuke the Mangekyo without killing Naruto.
* Why is he so high strung on training Naruto?
So they can get Sasuke back faster. He thinks Naruto has the best chance of doing it.

KakaIcha FTW.
On a serious note, I'm okay with Kakashi with Ayame, Shizune, Rin, or Kurenai. KakaSasu is pretty nice too - nothing I'd be obsessed with, but still nice.

Episode 101, of course! Also that part in chapter 330.
* His role in the Team:
Of course he's the sensei, but he's the caretaker too. He makes sure his team is safe. Later on, he's there companion and equal teammate.
* How did he get the Mangekyo? :
I definately don't think he got it by killing his best friend. (he's already dead...so they say. XD) I have this little idea in my mind that you don't get the Mangekyou eye by killing your best friend, rather obtain it by forgiving yourself for the death of your friend...Yeah, lame, I know. But maybe after all this time, Kakashi forgives himself for not being able to save Obito?

He wants Sasuke back, and he wants Naruto to be able to protect himself from Akatsuki.

Well... First of all, he has a weird color in his hair! ^^
Second, his headband is in one-of-a-kind position! He looks even cooler
Third, he looks like a stryder (I love stryders) Stryder= demon ninjas that cover their faces with a mask

Fifth, his answers to being late are AWESOME! He's thaught me how to be smart when those time come!

He plays an important role, because he is not only their trainer but he is also the one that is always there for all of his trainees and he's somehow a fatherly-role to Naruto

This is still lost in the memories of Oblivion my friends... But I think that what Itachi said isn't right, you don't have to kill your best friend to obtain the Magenkyou Sharingan, you just have to train yourself until you yourself beat the living crap out of you. XP

Because he knows that Naruto is the only one that can bring Sasuke back! And he wants them to be like they were at the beginning of the series: a big HAPPY but DISAGREEING family! ^^
