 The Yamato Discussion
"The only thing that can save him right now...Is how strong your freelings are towards Naruto..."
Yamato is that an expiriement of Orochimaru, with a mixing of the First Hokage's DNA. Wit that, enabling him to use more then one chakra affinity. [Water and Earth]. He also has the ability to contain a Bijuu's power. We first see him as a fill in for Kakashi while he is recovering from his fight with Deidara. With that, we see that he was part of team while Kakashi was in the ANBU. As of the current arc we find that Yamato not only a leader, but a valuable part to Naruto's training, seeing as with the technique that he is learning, the Kyuubi's power needs to be supressed and Yamato is the only one that can do that.

I love Yamato because he's actually giving up his time to help Naruto with his training, and to get back Sasuke, whom he probably sees as nothing more than a traitor. He puts the SQUAD before himself, and does his best to help them get along.

* Do you think he is really a part of Team 7?
No, and I don't think that he really cares or even wants to be. However, I respect him fully, and I don't really mind him taking care of Team 7.
* What does he really know about Sakura's feelings?
I am going to be hated by the SasuSaku fans for this, but I think he DOES know about Sakura's feelings SOMEWHAT. Yamato isn't STUPID. I think that he's been around the block long enough to know what he's talking about. However, I'm speaking in the general subject. It's fact that Yamato hardly knows Sakura, as well as her past relations with Naruto as well as her team. I don't think he knows or understands the details, or what Sakura feels to the exact point. BUT I'm not going to say that he's just tossing bullshit into the air, because I think that he IS aware of SOMETHING. Plus, I think everyone is going overboard with this. We aren't even fully sure if Yamato was even talking about a ROMANCE kind of relationship. People are underestimating Yamato, as well as overestimating his statements.
* Will he stay with Team 7 Even with Kakashi back?
Nah. I think he will stay aquainted. I think it'll be like Team 7 walking down the street, seeing Yamato pass, and yelling. "Hey, It's Yamato-san! HEY, YAMATO-SAN~" I'll think he'll be there to help out with things, but I don't believe he's going to be a part of Team 7.

I love Yamato because he is a true Shinobi. He puts whats important over what he wants. He knows that Naruto needs/wants to become stronger and that he is the only one that can help him. So he will. He will do whatever he can to help naruto in his quest to becoming stronger.
* Favorite Moment.
Im going to go with Iia on this one. The "Those-eyes-they-are-freaking-me-out" Deal that he pulls with Naruto. You know that Yamato finds secret pleasure in watching him squirm. Just like everyone does. Its quite funny, and I find it hot, how he can still at 15.
* Do you think he is really a part of Team 7?
Kinda. With helping Naruto he is an Honorary member, BUT you have to remember this is more of an assignment. He is ANBU and he does value that job alot as well. I think he just feels the emotional connection of the team. He's Yamato and those eyes just make you wanna hug him and hope that he does stab you with a wooden key XD.
* What does he really know about Sakura's feelings?
Yamato isn't dumb. And feelings could mean a many of things. She cares for him. And I am a SasuSaku fan. Its my OTP, but Yamato is wise and has lived many many years past her and has the expirience to back it up. Sakura has feelings for Naruto, she doesnt hate him, and it could be romantic, friend, family. Who knows...I hate NaruSaku, because they have had eachothers back so much that it seems like family to me. Calling eachother names and such, so Im not supporting it, but Yamato knows when a girl is crying over maybe losing her best friend. That there are feelings there, but people interpret them the way they want now a days.
* Will he stay with Team 7 Even with Kakashi back?
I think that he is going to go back to ANBU when his assignment is over, but when they have those get togethers, you know he is on the reunion list. Lolx. He has helped Naruto so much with his training. This ultimate technique that he is coming up with is all thanks to Mr. Yamato and his "I can supress the Bijuu" deal. So yea, I think he is a Team Seven-er at heart, but not with the team when Kakashi is back.

Yamato is one of those guys that is just too cool for a relationship. XD. Lolx.

Regarding what you both said about Yamato knowing Sakura's feelings...I do garee with the both of you. I can accept the fact that Sakura may have a crush in Naruto. Is very posisble...but I don't think it'll go farther than that. Also, think about this...Sakura is always there for Naruto and protects him. Also, she cares for him and worries. Is possible that she feels guilty of Sasuke's departure. That maybe she didn't do enough to help him. So, she might want to avoid making the same mistake with Naruto. Thus, showing the care and love (friend/sibling) she does.
Is possible that that is what Yamato is seeing but the way he said it, proyected something else.

Until Sakura herself says that she has feelings for Naruto, or she still has feelings for Sasuke, then nobody really knows if Yamato knew what he was talking about. *nods* I think it's kinda crazy how some NaruSaku fans started to WORSHIP Yamato, and some SasuSaku fans immediately set aside and/or shunned him because of that very statement. I personally try to not take either side, merely because nothing's been really revealed yet.
And I do agree fully about the chance of Sakura feeling guilty. It's a VERY possible situation, and I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case.
XD Plus, it's not like poor Yamato-sensei goes and sticks his nose in Team 7's business. People have to remember that he was assigned. >___> And really, what's the problem of him making that one comment!? I'm warming up to NaruSaku, so I try to see things from a SasuSaku AND a NaruSaku fan's POV. XD And on either side I see no reason for freaking out about Yamato. A little hope, maybe, but...there's nothing to ME personally that reveals something they we didn't know before. >_>;
