Sai is the new member of the new Team 7. Consisting of Naruto, Sakura, Sai and Yamato. Sai is placed as Sasuke's subtitue. Sai is actually a Root member of the Anbu and was sent to assasinate Sasuke. Of course, he went undercover with the codename Sai. At first, he was disliked by both Naruto and Sakura. Mainly for his arrogant fake smile and the way he talked about Sasuke. Sakura though, changed her mind evantually after she saw a kinder Sai that liked to draw. Naruto still kept his thoughts of him the same. After meeting Orochimaru once more, Sai left with him as if he had betrayed the team. The others followed him to Orochimauru's layer. After a series of events, it was known what Sai's intention really were. Naruto talked to Sai and told him about his bond with Sasuke. Sai realized how important bonds are and that reminded him of his dead brother. Then, he showed his true smile. He then left, and aborted the misisong himself by not killing Sasuke in order to protect Naruto and Sasuke's bond. After returning to Konoha, Sai wnated to stay with Team 7 and is now working in making friends.

OMG. I hated Sai with a PASSION....at first. D: He was so...ugh, I wanted to jump into the manga and strangle him. But after his decision to become good and help Team 7, he started to grow on me...
And now I love Sai. XD He's the cutest little social retard I know. <3
* Favorite Moment.
Besides all of the kick a** fighting styles....him reading "How to Make Friends"...or something like that. XD I give him kudos for trying. <3

It's very Sai. XD I mean, really...he's the ONLY one that can pull it off.

Yah. :] He's never replace Sasuke, but he IS part of the team in my book.

Maybe. It's really hard to tell at this moment. Probably not, though.

XD Um...*tries to sound professional* Sai's teammates are working with him. He's rough around the edges, but soon he'll be...erm...normal?
In all seriousness, I really adore his relations with Team 7. It's the first time since his brother that he's actually trusted someone, and he REALLY has to like them if he ditched his mission and all that he knew to help save Sasuke, whom Sai seems to not like at ALL.

Why you love/hate him.
I used to hate him. I detested him because he replaced Sasuke, but then I realized that he isn't really replacing Sasuke; he's just.. a new addition to the Team 7 family. So I like him because.. he amuses me, but I probably would have liked him more, had he not been manipulated by Naruto so easily..
Favorite Moment.
WHEN HE CALLED SAKURA A HAG. xDD And Ino "beautiful." He was so clueless. xD

I'm sort of torn on this at the moment. I have a sinking feeling that something will happen that causes him to leave, but I don't really know.

He really trusts them, so that's good, and he's willing to risk his life to help them rescue Sasuke, which is even better. :3

Yes he is, because he earned his keep, not as "Sai=Sasuke" but as Sai, a true member that is learning things about life, which is what team seven does. Learn about life.

Sai...There is so many things that ran through my head at first. One: Its def. Sasuke! and then, Who does he think he is?! Replacing Sasuke! [[Big thing for me seeing I was Anti Sasuke at the time]] And finally, ZOMG! He is adorable!

1. His constant p***s jokes. I love it.
2. Calling Sakura a Hag. XD
3. Calling Ino Gorgeous.
4. Getting Sasuke and NOT killing him.

Im completely unsure. At first, I thought it would be a sort of Im here for now, But when you get Sasuke back Ill go back to the ANBU. Actually I think its going to be one big huge family. XD.

Such a special relation. There is just so much trust that goes into it. He hasnt been able to trust anyone since his brother. And now he has a team. A team that he gave up the ANBU for. He wanted to stay with his friends. And I love it.

I adore the little retard!! xD At first I hated him because I thought he was en even bigger p***k than Sasuke...and he talked trash about Sasuke. But after he decided to forget about his misison to protect Naruto and Sasuke's bond...that's when I changed my mind. And when he revealed how retard he is at socializing...I started to love him up till today. xD

Even if he's Sasuke 'replacement' for the moment...I think Sai is Sakura and Naruto's momentary relief. They both have been suffering for Sasuke but now that Sai is here, is like he brings a smile to their faces again. ^^

UGH. I resisted the urge to PUNCH THE COMPUTER SCREEN for a long time with him. He was such an a**. xD
Of course, when Sai trusted Naruto and Sakura, and scrapped his plans to help them instead of hurt them, he became my favorite little social-emotional retard. <333

At first, he was kinda the outsider. I imagined his first views of Team Seven as the same as everyone else's; that Sasuke was a traitor and deserves his fate. Team Seven should move on.
But after he got to know them (and got a little beat around in the process) he saw what Team Seven was really about and became their friend.
