Do you think massage is good?
  Yes, very comforting and helpful.
No, never had one and I'm a bit doubtful on the matter. [Okay, that's alright.]

Massage is very beneficial for those trying to lose weight, or become more healthy. Certain strokes and oils will lower stress, body fat, and massage basically helps "flush out" wastes within body tissue. Massage helps the blood flow more easily and is very soothing for both giver and receiver.

If there are any questions about massage therapy, I will try to answer as best as I can. I am not a massage therapist, but I have been studying to become one and the books I've read are very helpful. >w<

Oooh, sounds good! I've never been to any official message therapy people or places, but it sounds like something I'd be up for. And yeah, it can really help you relieve stress and feel better. 3nodding

Where can I find out more information about massage therapy online?

Sorry for not getting on in awhile...

Actually, I'm not sure where online, but there are great books to read.

Complete Massage [By Clare Maxwell-Hudson]

Again, so sorry for being off for a long time, I've been busy with working out and reading. Also school semester projects. I'll try to post in here whenever I do get online, though!

Don't worry, I've been bad about getting in here, myself. sweatdrop

As for online, the only thing I can think of off the top of my head is good ol' Google. I don't know of any actual message therapy websites.

Google is very helpful, good idea. 3nodding

Oh. An important tip in massage I nearly forgot, do not press down on any bones. Namely the spine, as this will cause discomfort and pain thorughout the receiver's time.

Anytime. ^ ^

There's also a big debate as to whether people should massage on visible veins or not. Some say to massage over them gently, others say rub around them, whilst the rest will have nothing to do with them.

A boy in my Anatomy class has an older sister as a licensed massage therapist, so I'm trying to contact her for more questions. 3nodding

As of late, I've also ordered meditation and yoga books from joinonespirit.com. You get your five first books for a low price of $2.00 plus shipping and handling. I'm waiting for them to come in, they were shipped on the 22nd and should be here within a week or a bit longer. <3
