I need to know if VIncent was the father of sephiroth and I would like to know yur opinion.. biggrin or at least you have some facts about the game final fantasy 7 regarding who the father of Sephy ish. blaugh

After playing Dirge of Cerberus, I get the impression that Vincent and Lucrecia were never that... TOGETHER, if you know what i mean. +wink wink, nudge nudge+
Because Rachel says Lucrecia is a whore, who slept with Hojo the Nasty Man. And they made the love-child Sephiroth. Because Rachel said so...
eek I need to stop listening to Rachel!

We should make a thread for this maybe... I thought there was.
In the FFVII Ultimecia factbook thingy it clearly startes that Lucrecia was Hojo's wife and that Hojo is in fact the father of Sephy. The reason Sephiroth is so beautiful with such an ugly father is because he has Jenova cells in him and looks like her and his mother.

Lucrecia and Hojo were married.

Being a knowingly deluded fan, I like thinking that Vincent is Sephiroth's father. I can't stand the idea of Hojo actually being the father.
The way I see it, Vinny and Lucretia had a fling under the tree, making her feel even more horrible knowing that she had cheated on Hojo and that's why she completely pushed Vincent away(Well, accompanied with her guilt from his father) and she never admitted to Hojo that it wasn't his son.
But I like twisting things to my own reasoning.

If you've played the game, you'd know that Hojo is his father. He admits it at the end of disc 2, before you fight him. Hojo just decided to use his own son in his experiments.

It's officially been proven by Nomura and in many posts not only here, but in the Final Fantasy forums that Hojo is the biological father. As nice as it would make us fans be able to sleep peacefully at night knowing Vincent is his father... it's just not. ): Sad, but that's the truth fans need to stop hiding fun and starting arguments over.

Apparently, in the game, it was implied that Vincent thought that Sephiroth was his son. I think they touch on that in Dirge at one point, but I'm not quite sure. All I really know is that he gets a little worried in the game about how he might be a dad sweatdrop

umm I definitley believe that Vincent is NOT the father of sephiroth. I beat dirge of cerberus and there wasnt any part of the game that had Lucrecia or Vincent really close with eachother in any way. They were more like friends sweatdrop To vincent, differently, but lucrecia friends...
Besides the fact that Hojo in my eyes is hideous and the result of Sephiroth...NOT being hideous wink well...may be kind of strange lol But to remind you...Hojo did run some tests on the unborn child, and Lucrecia isnt necesarily ugly. Now im just talking about looks.... redface

It was hojo, for he did exiperments ... for he even called Sephrioth his son many times.
Now Vincent could have been a great father, but it might look like he is going to stay a bachlor ... ^_^
