The darkening, shadowy storm was approaching as I sat and watched, not sure as of what I was thinking. I had been confused for several days, about a lot of things. The weather didn't help either, it had been like this all week and I was about to go insane. My mood was getting more and more depressing as the time passed. Quite ridiculous actully, if you knew me. I just couldn't inderstand him anymore. He seemed to of changed over one night; one night that I wasn't with him. I didn't realize I would have this problem with a vampire, more or less him of all people.

Suddenly the storm broke with a flash of lighting and a low growl of thunder, startling me from my thoughts. I had been out here for a while, and didn't realiza how late it was getting. It was already almost a blinding darkness, and a cold wind was sweeping through the yard, makeing the house feel like it was being rocked. I shivered and pulled my coat closer together although it didn't help.

"Jaz!"I heard my name called by Raven, "You should come in here before it starts to rain, I can smell it and it's going to come down any moment now. " No sooner then he said that a drop hit my face, then it seemed like thousands of drops just came out no where and started to beat the ground. I quickly went inside, although not eager to deal with Raven's sudden change of mood he's had for the past week and day.

"Yes, I noticed," I said sourly in displeasure of the storm, "I noticed when the first drop hit my cheek." He just looked at me for a moment and then looked back to what he was messing with, my eyes followed. He was trying to fix the radio, at least thats what it was supose to look like, more as looked like a mess and he wasn't makeing it any better. "So have you hunted yet?"I asked him warily. It wasn't something he liked to talk about, but it was something important to know. "No, not yet. I was planning on doing that after the storm let up." "Oh, well it doesn't look like it's going to let up any time soon." He just smiled and shook his head. "Ok, well I'm headed to bed, see you when I wake up." I gave him a hug and kissed him on the lips, then the cheek. "Mhm, good night honey." Was all that he said. I missed how he used to be affectionate, it was so odd for him to be like this, so, distant. I had no idea why either, just a time frame.

Ok so this is a Two part story:
The two main characters are Jazmine and Raven. They trade off on their point of views. All I need is one other person to go along with me on this story, I think it could turn out very interesting. So hopefully some one will.

As I closed I entered my room, thunder crashed and lighting lit up the room; "What a night this is going to be." I thought to myself wearliy. I started to get undressed and ready for bed, doing the usual things. I sat down in front of my mirror and started to let down my hair. As it fell to almost below my feet I started to brush it, when the power went out. "Crap," I said, "Just perfect...now where is that lighter. Ah there it is," Good thing I keep Candles everywhere in my room. As I reached over and lit the candle with the lighter I noticed the house was extreamly quiet. "hmmm, I wonder where Raven went. Probably out to hunt..." As I murmerd this to myself, a deep voice came out of no where and began to speak. "So this is the Jazmine that Raven became so infatuated with. How pathetic. What frail human, and all for her he gave it up. Stupid, so stupid." He seemed to be mumbleing to himself... I didn't know wether To be scared or not... I think I was more agitated. "Jazmine, do you know who Raven's true self is? Do you?? " He asked me now very demandingly although not waiting for my reply he continued, "Raven was of one of the highest ranked vampires in our clan. Our clan is most reknown through the world of all vampires and humans alike. Only is it dreaded with both but also not known wether legend or truth and because of this no one dares to mess with us! Raven has a royal blood line so to speak and was to be a great vampire, one to rule all, but no then he had to meet your tainted blood... or then again sweet to him.. how disgusting. I should just kill you and bring him back. Pathetic, he is over five thousand years old, dateing back to the very first. Use to feed on humans and now only animals, what a dog, a coward, doesn't deserve to live. And you of all people, JAZMINE THE PRIESTESS OF VIAOUS HAD TO FIND HIM!!! "he roared. "Gawd this guy has some anger issues." I thought to myself, "And what the hell is he talking about? I'm no preistess..." "Did you know that? You probably didn't, you have no love for heritage or history only now and furture." He added as I was in thought. "Um Excuse me," I Decided to inturupt now, although it was probably follish but whatever, I was tired of dealing with this crap already,"What the hell do you think your doing here? And where do you get off bitching at me? Get to the point of why your here will you, I've already had a rough night and this is not any better. If your looking for Raven then go find him outside! I think he went hunting." I yelled. He looked shocked to see that I inturupeted him but when he came out of it he was even angrier. "What the hell do you think you are speaking to me like that, I aught too... Before he could finish his words Raven came busting in the room.

I watched in horror as Raven jumped at vampire, but just as he lunged the vampire moved so quick that i couldn't see, dodgeing him. The vampire just laughed. "You are a foolish one, your blade will not do anything, but as you say a fourth night, I will see you then. Come to your old coven, there you will face your battle, and your death based on what you choose." He bellowed, and as he finished, he was gone within a blink of an eye.

"Oh Raven! What the hell was that all about? Is this why you've been acting weird?? Why? Why? Are you really going to go and fight them? whats this crap about me being some preistess and you being of some old blood line, royalty or what? " I cried anixously at him, and collaspeing in his arms, bursting into tears. Normally I'm not very histerical, but I guess my cool went away finally after I knew I was safe. For hours I cried or so it seemed, although it was only a a few mins. I waited for Raven's anwsers, as he sat there holding me silently.

"but raven, you can't, I mean I don't doubt your abilites, but, to take on your entire old coven? Come on seriously." I Say, biteing my lip, it was the only thing I could do to stop it from quivering. "Why didn't you tell me this all before? I thought I knew what I was getting us into by being with you. Not that I would of chose any other way, it's just I wish I knew I could of expected this you know? Oh Raven What are we going to do?" Man I'm getting hysterical....I need to pull myself together.... I pull my slef out of his arms, before he can reply. " I'm stepping out side, I need some freash air to think... and Calm down. I'm sorry for causeing this mess... I do love you though Raven." I said quitely as I moved quickly out of the room before he could think to stop me.

Outside, was dark and damp, the rain was still pounding the ground with flashes of lighting in the sky periodically and a faint rumble of thunder. I sat on the steps, and closed my eyes, trying to pull myself together. I decided to concentrate on the rythm of the rain, splash, pitter, splash, pitter, pitter, splash... There was a puddle over to the side of the porch makeing the noises as the rain gutter on the house allowed the water to slide down. "Man I have no idea what to do or think!" I say out loud, with out thinking. I quickly shut up though, when I hear a scream from in the house....

No sooner then did I hear the scream, I see a Sword appear, in smoke... "oh no," I wisper to myself expecting the worse, I get up and examine the Sword to find a note on it. It read,

Dear jas,

I have gone off to see an old friend of mine and to hunt. please don't worry or stay up freting about this, I will handle every thing. Remember i love you more than my eternal life its self.

Oh Raven, What are you going to do? I hope he gets back soon, this just isn't fair leaveing me sit here, how can I not worry?? Gawd, I don't get it anymore.. I wish I could do something to help but instead i'm a burden.. grrr...

I go back inside leaving the sword there. Hmm fine I'll go to sleep...I go into the bathroom, and find the sleeping pills, I take two and go and lay down, waiting for them to kick in. As I lay there I begin to think about everything, from when we first met.

He had saved me from some guys that jumped me and were trying to steal my money and rape me. It was quite a sad site i'm sure. He took them out like nothing, it scared me but I watched in awe too. I knew I should of been running, but my feet woulnd't move, before I knew it , everything was over, and all I could hear was a skily deep voice asking me if I was ok....

(Still lost in memories) I remeber that night he took me home, and stayed. I wasn't scared of him although I should of been I'm sure. I had curled up on the bed and fell asleep as held me through the night. When I woke up the next morning, he was gone though. I thought maybe it was all a dream, untill I seen his coat. He left it behind, and inside it's pocket was a note. it read:

Hello Jazmine,
I've left for a few nights, stay out of trouble and I will return for you very soon.

I was very confused by this note at the time and had no idea what it ment, but I did learn that this angel of shadow was named Raven. How fiting of a name for one.

I remeber how he looked and felt then, peircing blue eyes with traces of green and silver shards in them, midnight black hair that flowed loosely to his sholders, Lips that looked so delicous I just wanted to taste them with a kiss, He was tall probably about 6"1 or 6"2, built very sturdy, yet slender, his skin was soft yet his body felt strong and his movement was so graceful all I could do was stare in awe and wonderment at this creature, there was no way he could be human and I knew that.

Funny how nothing has changed about him, with the exception now that he had been acting odd, but maybe the pieces are starting to fall together and fit....

Being a vampire raven didn't sleep much and if he did it was when the sun was up. Silently walking over and sitting in a comfortable reading chair off to the side of the room Raven took a seat. Watching jes sleep brought back an old memory from long ago when they had first met. "I was walking down a dead street when he herd a young woman scream from the shadows of the alley way. Going to invesegate he saw these men jumping a the woman trying to rape her. With out evan thinking about it I rushed in and started tossing them around like rag dalls shouting at them "Never ever force your self of a woman. not only is it disrespectfull it's pathetic. now go before i open your neck and drink from your blood from your skulls." throughing a few more punch's and picking up the last of them and tossing him out of the ally way with an imhuman strength. Looking down at the woman stareing up at him" Are you alright?" I said as she got up from the floor. Being the gentleman i was raised to be I escorted her home and held her safe all night to ease her mind. Knowing i had to go before the sun rose i left her a note in my coat pocket hopeing she would find it. Affter checking to make sure the house was locked up tight i left through the window by the way of silvery misy

placeing a plate of the cook food on a plate and covering it with a dish cloth. Leaveing the coverd plate in the oven set on low to keep it warm raven headed out to sit on the back porch. senseing Yet another old vamperic presence he stood up." reveil your self or die. i will not warn you again."he said into the cold still air of the morning. Watching as a gray mist coverd the grass. A dark figure immerged from the fog smileing. "Don;t be so deffensive old friend. It's only me. I herd you were going home soon. Good luck with that. You have made quite the reputation."the figure said. looking at the figure standing up looking at the figure smileing knowing the voice. "Why did you come unanounced? Acctually its very like you. how the hell have you been my friend vlad. I has been what five six centuries?"raven said as the one called vlad fully imerged from the shadows. clasping raven on the back "I have no idea how long it has been nor do I much care. How the hell have you been tho. i hear you hooked up with some preist at the vadican, and are dateing some preistess. How intoresting. May i ask why you have choosen these mortals over your own kind?" sitting back down raven being a little cautiouse of vlads intentions"Well, i don't know about jes being a preistess but i am indeed friends with a judest preist from the vadican and im doing well enough. Altho all of these random visits are getting me rather irritated. No offence intended. But affter almost onethousand years its smell of a plot. that i want nothing to do with."silently listening vlad lit up a cigar. Letting out a large cloud of smoke he replied." Well like i said earlyer you have quite the reputation. I mean affter the way you left than makeing these friends. The vampire lords are questioning your loyalty to the covent. But i undersand wanting to get out now. I mean you are lined up to be king. Thats a heavy burden to place on anyone. . . Well it was nice to see you again but I must go. I'm being followed as we speak. The lords want a word and im avoiding their messenger. so if you woul..."Vlad vanished before he could finish what he was saying. "well how fitting of him."raven thought to himself. Affter a few moments of sitting there in the rain he herd a stiring in the house and got up to check it out. Just as his hand touched the cold brass door handle a stumpy little vampire subordinate poped out of thin air asking"have you seen a lord vlad dracule anywere?" chucking at this poor pathetic creature who was assigned to follow vlad with a message. Raven's only reply to the subordinate"Nope" with that he closed the door behind him as he enterd the house. silently walking room to room raven found nothing amiss. "Hmm must have been nothing." Raven though to himself. Walking back into the kitchen to see jes sitting at the table with a look on her face that could only mean one thing."What did you do and were did you go spill now or else." sighing raven sat next to her.
