Part of and forged from the very mountains themselves, these enormous metal gates were forged in one final act by the last lord to protect the nation from unwonted invasions. From high vantages, Halvetians can barrage intruders with powerful magic, more so seeing that it was not built on Halvetian soil. Zealous Halvetians from all over have clamoured to this city to both test their trades and their souls.
Ei is the first "mountain" invaders will have to cross, but these three steely giants will be the least of their worries...
Built into the Eastern Portion of the Unbreakable Gates is the Koutetsukan. A fortress built to guard over not only the gates but the inner city as well. Perhaps its name implies some other function it might have?

Volcruz stood looking over the troops of the gathered army. The forces were big but to go against an army created by the gods they would need many more warriors. He turned quickly turned and faced a group of more highly trained soldiers. These men would be considered higher in ranks and would help control the units in battle and have to take command of at least five hundred men each. Looking at them they all seemed fairly new to him, it was time for introductions. "My name is Volcruz Namentrie and once again I stand between the gods and total control. With your aid we will take these lands for good, and you will all have your claims from this battle. I request names and positions, step foreward and present." Volcruz awaited the first soldier to step foreward.

Kerra stood in the midst of the army below. She was looking for a commanding officer. Apparently they were not in the pack, so Kerra picked out a group in the distance, higher up to head towards. `I can't believe I got drafted... why can't these people fight their own war.`
When Kerra nears her destination, a soldier stops her and beings questioning her training. Kerra grabs the soldier and throws him back into the crowd of new recruits. Those who saw this kept their distance as Kerra passed. She stops at the back of the group that Volcruz is addressing, and quietly asks one of the group what was missed...
`We're fighting gods? This better not be a joke.`
Kerra steps forward to get a better look at Volcruz before introducing herself. "Call me Kerra. I was drafted as infantry, but I assure you that I need little training to fill any position within this army."
`He had better not ask for a demonstration of magical abilities... I don't know Halvetan magic.'

Arianna moved standing before the gates and yet a distance from Volcruz. Her jacket billowed in the wind and the slight steel of her blades seemed to shimmer, her flesh was as pale as the moon itself and shon as if of it's own accord. She didn't want to be a specific part of this war she would help as she could and she would heal as many as crossed her path whereever she set up camp. She figured however it may be an idea to approach this man named Volcruz and she would do so. Arianna moved slowly but stealthy to the untrained eye it would seem she dissappeared before she stood before Volcruz. " My dear sir, it seems you be the commanding officer about these parts."

Volcruz stood fronted by to females that seemed a bit testy and iffy of this war. Volcruz looked to them as belted out a response, "Well it's good to have you two, but if for any reason either of you feel you're fighting a war that doesn't concern you, then take the time to realize if we don't suceed that these lands will be torn and shattered and the vile creatures that the gods create will roam these lands. You may avoid fighting but you will eventually have to fend for your exsistance. The only true chance our lands have is total unification. But never the less we are glad to have on whatever terms you are here on. For the most part I won't be directly involved in the parts of commanding the army. I shall lead by example and fight on the battlefields nesxt to everyone of you. But we'll need generals and officers to help lead units into army and help over throw the gods. Do you really think you have not only the skill but the leadership to be more than just infantry?" Volcruz silenced as he awaited a reponse.

Arianna made a few subtle movements, vile creatures most would consider her vile as well. " Any creature who lives here is involved one way or another, and bloodshed as much as we may not like it is required for my kind anyways. I cannot be a leader or commander as my hours are to limited and i have to much time spent vulnerable. I will however help in the battle and with the healing of the ill. As to much time spent on the battlefeild could cause serious problems for any near me. " Arianna stared at the man dead in the eyes and smiled softl y the shimmer of moonlight hit her ivory fangs and made them shine softly. It was obvious she was a vampire now her complextion and hair all made sense as did her previous statement.

"Amaya Shiga" She replied softly as she stepped forward in to few of both the commander and the two women. "First Class Cleric. Though I have no fighting ablity I will travil with the troups and heal both on feild and off." She glaced towards them her tail swaing slightly behind her. She looked Danty and fragilel. Some one from the looks of it has never once in her whole life picked up any type of weapon let alone harmed or even seen blood shed. "It is a pleasure sir to be fighting to not only protect this world but those of us who live upon it."

Kerra looks back at Volcruz and asks, "How many soldiers would you trust me with?"

Volcruz was highly interested with the responses from the women, but he still needed to figure out what to do to aid Gantor on the front lines. Gantor was somehow holding off the God's armies, but no one was sure how long they would last. Looking to Kerra, "Well that all depends on where you plan on positioning yourself." Volcruz had hoped that he could send at least two of these officers to the front lines, and perferably the healer as she would prove very helpful indeed. Much more useful there than here. Volcruz looked and awaited a response.

Deciding that she wasn't need at this point she turned and head off towards the town. She wasn't much for small talk and since she wouldn't lead any men in to battle she didn't see the point of waitng for a response. Volcruze seemed more interested in the women who could fight not those that would proivde the healing aid need to keep fighting.

Arianna looked at the man another moment she could be a brutal warrior when the situation called for it and she would do so whenever she so desired. But she could not be a constant fighter as that would send her into a state of blood lust, where she would kill her own men to have their blood. " I will go to wherever i am needed, and i will be more than a healer for now i am a warrior but to much blood could be very bad if i were in charge of a group of men"

Kerra turns to Amaya and shouts after her, "Where are you going?" With no immediate response from Amaya, Kerra waits for Arianna to finish before replying to Volcruz, "I would prefer to meet our opponents as soon as poccible sir. Just let me know where the front lines are, and I'll be happy to help out there."
Kerra is already feeling impatient; she wants to just pick up a sword and start hacking at things, but a commander wouldn't set a very good example doing that.

Stopping for a moment she looked back..
"It would seem that I'm not needed at this moment so I'm off to check out the town as well as what wounded men are here... After all I am more then just highly skilled I'm one of the best"
She smiled a bit as she stood there and waited for a response from her or val again.

Kerra listsns to Amaya without acknowledging her response. After listening to the cleric, Kerra continues her impatient thinking. `So she can just wander around however she wants to. That's fine, but I can't just go find these gods without being told where they are first. I hope any soldiers under me will know better than to wander off.` Kerra glances at Amaya, nods, then looks back to Volcruz. `All this waiting... this is worse than farming for the neighbors.`
Kerra's life had been paid for by farming up to this point. There was little more to Kerra's experiences in the past, since nothing seemed worthwhile to her. This was partly due to the fact that she could accurately guess how any different job or activity would change her future. She would always ask herself why to bother with it when the outcome is unchanged in the end.
Perhaps Kerra's ideas are selfish, leading her to disregard her impact on other's lives in her plans. How one's actions affect another can not be predicted so easily though. While Kerra ponders this, she finds herself asking a question in her mind, `Am I afraid of what I can't control?`

Volcruz knew that Halveta was safe for now and that they needed aid in Gantor. Volcruz looked to them as one of them began to walk away. "Well when you are good and set you will all be sent to aid and assist the front lines of Gantor. All of you will be in command of lead a large group together. We'll send about five thousand men with you. It's your duty to guide them safely. Once you get to gantor and you do not want control of alot of soldiers then break off and find out all you can about these Gods and there lands. If you can go far enough, what all their intentions are. Any Questions?" Volcruz had hoped to get them moving as quickly as possible.
