But You’ll Never Know...
The floating island descended slowly... slowly... drifting down to the ground. Though its descent seemed slow, it was breaking through the space and time barriers. It vanished before it hit the ground, and it made a shattering earth quake and an ear piercing noise. The noise what laced with a magic, not dark, not good, but a neutral magic that did not care for anyone but itself. It left everyone in the world unsure of what ever happened, just that something big fell.
Leaving a crater with the diameter of 100 feet, the people left homeless by the horrible event began to excavate in search of finding something worth selling. But others, people who were closely attached to the stars, to the goings on the universe, looked for something else, even though they forgot about everything. They were looking for an azure stone the size of a dime with marking on it that dated back before anyone could remember. It was called Tetla.
The people who were excavating for the Tetla are called the Azu, the neutral are called the Niiko, and the evil force working against the Azus and Niikos are the Machas. Some people in the Azu are searching for their own greed, the Niiko are there to protect the stone from being found, and the Machas also wanted the Tetla for a power that they can unleash.

Raised by the former leaders of the Machas, Leah was taught dark arts and was forced to let a black snake bite her, cursing her for all of eternity. It left a scar on her forehead that she conceals with her hair.
