Hi, I'm Mia Dragonchild. I am making a story about Yugi and the gang. If you like yaoi (sp) then don't read if you looking for it,because it's not here. It's staring when their in the memory world. It's going to be kind of long, but I'll put parts in different topics. But I will title them so their easy to find. There will also be some crossovers. And a new character. Please R&R but no big fires. Thanks.

So heres the start of the Story. Sorry if it's kind of confusing.
************************************************************** RUNAWAYS. Part 1 The girl was forced into the tomb, gun digging into her back. The robbers had heard stories about the tomb, and they weren’t risking their lives when they had this foreigner. She, on the other hand, was freaking out. She had followed a shop owner to ask about some things, when someone had grabbed her from behind. She had been dragged here and told that if she didn’t do what they told her, they would kill her and the people she was with. Now she was in a new tomb that all the robbers were nervous about. They had made it through without trouble. Now they were in the last two “games” of the tomb, the game of Faith and the game of Soul. The game of Faith was supposed to test your faith in your Pharaoh and the Gods. The group stepped into the room. 3 of the 5 tomb raiders started screaming. Them a wind picked up, blowing all but one of the torches out. The ones that were screaming turned and ran. Only the leader, his brother, and the girl remained. “What is this about? What is this going to do?” The leader shoved his gun deeper into her back. “The thing is supposed to test your faith. See if you trust enough to get to the other end.” She was looking at the deep hole in front of them. There was a skinny log that went from one end to the other. She stepped on it, thinking that it would turn. When it held, she took another step, then another. She was half way, when she nodded for the older brother to come. Then she looked at her feet. The left foot had always been in front. She shuffled forward. Then she remembered a tidbit at the museum, how you put your left foot forward to show respect and present your heart to the Pharaoh and the gods. She was just thinking cool when the log shifted. It began to turn hard. She whipped around to see the younger brother with his right foot forward. She leaped down and grabbed to log, just as the leader did the same. The last one wasn’t fast enough. “Aaaaaaarrrgghhh.” The young man screamed as he tumbled off the log. The older one looked at the girl, and then shot one over her head. “Move!!!” They got to the other side, and were standing up, when he hit the young girl with the butt of the gun. “You b***h! My brother is dead because of you. Why did you not know?” He screamed in her face. “I’m sorry, I didn’t know until he had stepped on.” The man growled, then showed her into the next room. A real bridge extended across another gap. The bridge was inlayed with stone slabs, each a great beast. The girl looked down and saw some glyphs giving some directions. The pure will cross and know the power of the pharaoh, while the beasts will judge the tainted. “Well, simple enough. Cross the bridge and hope the monsters aren’t hungry.” She mumbled to herself. She began walking. Shuffling with her left foot forward, she crossed the bridge. The monsters seemed to twist with the thought of food, snapping at her feet, taunting her with their frozen eyes. She looked up to see that there was only one tablet left, of a great dragon. She stepped on it and froze. The beast seemed friendly, like a congratulations. She stared for a while. Too long for the grave robber. The bridge is safe, now to get rid of the girl. He raised the gun, and fired once. The girl cried out briefly, then fell over the edge. Her left shoulder screamed with pain. She reached out and grabbed the ledge. “You… you b*****d.” She forced out. She tried not to loose conscience as the grave robber crossed the bridge. He briefly looked at her, then smiled and continued. Just as his foot touched the last slab, he paused. The stone seemed to quiver. He took a step back, and watched in horror as a beast emerged out of the stone. The great blue dragon seemed to be made of energy, and metal pieces seemed to give it a form. It screamed at the grave robber and lunged faster than both the humans in the room could follow. It passed through him, and the light left his eyes. He toppled over into the pit below. The beast landed, and the girl could barley make out a shape patting the beast. Then it moved to her and she could see that it was a young boy. He reached out a hand to her, and put his other on the hand that grasped the ledge. He smiled and the girl felt as if she knew him. I’ve missed you sister. The girl was trying to figure out what that meant, when she blacked out.
The girl woke up to find herself on the tablet of the blue dragon. She checked herself and was freaked out to find no wound mark. She looked to the end of the bridge, the reward for being a pure child. She walked up to the alter, where a small golden box was laid. Strange carvings and inscriptions covered the faces of the box; which seemed to be made of wood and gold fused together. A tiger and dragon circled the lock; maws open, roaring at each other. The lock seemed to need a key, but when the girl touched it, the box popped open. She lifted the lid to see a small amulet in the center of the box. The gold light washed over the sacred object, and it seemed to be singing. The girl reached for the amulet. Her fingers brushed it, then pain seared through her arm into the rest of her body. She screamed as images flashed in front of her. She fell to the ground, writhing in pain, she felt as if she was slowly being pulled apart. Before she blacked out again, Mia Pyrindrake heard a small voice. And so it begins again. *** Heat. Oh god searing heat. I crack open my eyes-- but only the left one would open, the other one was covered with something-- to figure out where I am. Desert, sand. Man am I thirsty. I tried to open my mouth, but it’s coated with blood. I slowly lifted myself up. My right eye is also covered in blood. My hair is matted with the sticky stuff. I feel sore all over. Then it hits me. I don’t remember anything that could help me understand what happened. I know that I’m a girl, and that cold means cold, and all that knowledge. But if you go to the memory file, it’s completely blank. I look around, and only see, sand, sand, sand. Then I spot a white lump, near a shimmering ribbon. City. Well, this could be interesting. *** Evening is coming on fast. I’ve been wandering around for a while now, trying not to draw attention to myself. The city has been winding down quickly, and the heat of the day is flying away. I looked around to see a great building not far. Everything else is closed, so that seemed to be my best place to go. There were men with spears everywhere. I stuck to the shadows, trying not to be seen. My back seemed to be twitching with anticipation, which didn’t seem right. I quietly made my way to the front door, which could have let a giant through. There was a small window beside it; which seemed to lead into a deserted room. Faster than I thought was right, I was through the window. And strait onto the head of a guard. He yelled and I seemed to roar in pain. My back was twitching like mad now, and I was freaking out. Six guards came running, and the one I had squished wiggled out from under me. He reached for my clothes, but I pulled away. They ripped off, to reveal an undershirt covering my chest. The men all paled with shock for some reason. I looked down at my arms, to see patches of night blue scales covering my arms. A large patch covered my stomach, and rose up and over my back. I felt the back of my neck and felt scales, along with small spikes. Then, without any warning, huge wings erupted from behind me. Those were my wings. Along to bone, it was a sea blue, but the rest was the same night blue like my scales. I shakily touched my legs, to fell random patches of scales under the cloth that covered me. Then all of Egyptian Hell broke loose. The Soldiers finally snapped out of it, and decided to launch at me. Suddenly I was on the ceiling snarling at the soldiers. This really pissed off the guy that I had landed on. Without really thinking, he launched his spear at me, missed me completely, but hit the tip of my right wing. That hurt like a Banshee scream, and really got me steamed. I launched at him, aiming for a very thick throat. I wasn’t looking at the other guy who was descended from the mammoths. He brought two fists onto me, and smashed me into the floor. I was stunned; long enough to have about four guys haul me up and bind me so tight, I was pretty sure that Houdini couldn’t escape from that. Then I stopped. Who the hell is Houdini? The guards gave me no time to think about that, as they were dragging me down the hallway. We entered a huge room, and I just got this really weird feeling that this wasn’t going to be a good experience. And ever since I had woken up in the desert, I had only had bad experiences. I looked around, and saw guards everywhere. And at the other end of the huge room, were six very important looking people. Five of them stood in front of a huge throne, three on the left side, and two on the right. They all possessed a very important looking Item. There was a scale, an Akah-shaped key, a Tauk, a rod, an eye, and a set of scales. On the throne sat a young boy, a half diamond shaped pendant on a string around his neck. “Bow before the Pharaoh, beast.” Hissed one of the guards. With almost no movement, he kicked me in the back of the knees and I went down. The priests at the front of the room seemed more shocked than the guards by my mismatched form. And they hadn’t even seen my wings. They had been tied up, and were now pinned against my back. The kid on the throne seemed to want to stand up, and he was kind of pale, under that really strong tan. “Pharaoh, lord priests, we found her trying to sneak into the palace.” One of the guards stepped forward then bowed. The priests seemed to be trying to figure me out, when one of the priests, no the only priestess, spoke up. She said something that really freaked me out. “There is no past for this girl that I can see with the Millennium Tauk.” She seemed to be really sorry for having to share this little tidbit. That got heads turning. The priest that held the rod seemed to be pissed. “That is not possible, unless she holds a Millennium item.” He cried. Then he looked at the man beside him, a baldie with tattoos along his skull. This guy held the Akah- key thing. The rod priest asked him, “Can you see her Ka?” The baldie held up the key, and I felt as if I was being opened up and read like a book. Then everything turned black. I could still see the priest in front of me, but he seemed not to have caught me. Then I felt a rumble behind me, and saw the priest whip around in my direction. I looked behind me, and felt like screaming. An eye, more than twice the size of me, glared down at us. The red Sclera circled a cat like pupil. Whatever it was it was big. Then it roared, and I was back in the throne room, with the priest flying through the air. He smashed into the wall, and slid down beside the throne itself. The kid jumped up and rushed to his side, helping him up. The other priests were looking at me with scared, pissed off looks .The guards had stepped a few feet away from me, and they for some reason hadn’t tied the ends of the binds. I struggled with them, quickly loosening them enough to let my wings do the rest. You know that scene in the third X-Men, when Angel busts out of the harness. Me busting out of the binds was kind of like that, except that he had feathers, and I had skin. If my scales had rattled their cages, this was like shoving their cages in a paint mixer on high. They were beyond stunned. The kid stood up, and slowly took some steps toward me. The guy with the rod jumped up and started acting all manly, but I could see his legs shaking like mad. “Pharaoh, get back.” He reached for the kid’s soldier, but the Pharaoh brushed it away. He took one more step toward me, and then tried to smile. “Your… you…” he struggled to spit what he was thinking out. It was a chance to get a better look at him. The first thing that grabbed me was his hair. Apart from the bangs, in all stood up, in three spikes. There was blonde, black, and red, layered into the hair. Then I looked at his face. That was probably the second biggest mistake that I knew of to make. The lavender eyes grabbed me, and sucked me in deep. I felt safe, like nothing was going to happen. Like there was no way that even Anubis could rip me from him. It wasn’t romance love; it was more as if I had found a brother. Then he finally found his tongue. “Your wings are beautiful.” He finally forced out. I felt like I needed to say something, and it came without thinking on my part. “Was your hair like that when you decided to come out, or did you lick a pissed Camel?” I tried to make the joke funny, and not mean it as an insult. The kid smiled. I was trying to figure out his age, when a searing white raced up my spine, and set off the 4th of July party in my skull. My knees buckled and I saw the smile fly off his face, before I blacked out.

THanks. I'm waiting for a bit more review. Need to see what people think, and get rid of my writers block.
