I had my day. Now I simply just think religion is... Well, senseless. At least to me it is. I understand mankind has a spiritual side and needs to keep it fulfilled, but damn, keeping one's self attached to a religion that seems to prohibit growth, limit mentalities, create herd movements and hinder any good advancements on mankind's behalf is simply absurd. As far as Pagans in general go, more power to you if you have a faith that isn't mainstream. However, it does not make one special nor above anyone else as many would have a tendency to think. Some grow too arrogant in their faith and need to be brought down.
Simply put, I stick to humanism. Are there things beyond me? Yes. But should I concern myself with worshipping them, kneeling down to them, giving them so much recognition that I take away from my very own life and existence? Nope. I'm here just as well as they are. I'm perfectly content living life without having to wake up and pray to an invisible being/force. And I'm pretty sure that such things can manifest in our plane of existence. I still believe in the Geezer Butler story. So... Yeah. But for the most part, I just stick away from religion. If it makes someone happy, great. But if it becomes harmful to them or someone else in any way, I let them know.
