Let me know if I have this in the wrong place so I know for future reference. I found a fun site in one of my baby magizines. Kooki Sushi it's all candy sushi. Now if only it cost less I'd get some for my husband for Christmas, he loves sushi. ^_^ UPDATE: Woo! I found a recipe for make-it-yourself candy sushi! I thought I'd go on and share, seeing as the Kooki Sushi is super expensive. When I make some I'll get pictures and post 'em up for all to see. xd Recipe (at bottom of page)Basically the same recipe but different site.Instead of gummy worms I plan to use Twizlers. And make the "shrimp" sushi with red and orange gummy wedges (starwberry and orange?). I'll let ya'll know how they come out! I can't wait to make them, but need to wait for finances(sp?) to agree with the spending. I think I'll even make them for my daughter's 1st b-day as take-home snacks for everyone! Edit: Here's a pic that shows the "shrimp" sushi with using gummy candies. (far right) Picture hereEdit Again: I made the candy sushi. xd it was a little harder than I thought it would be. Glad I did them tonight and not wait until tomorrow when they HAD to be done. 3nodding Here is the picture (sorry for low quality our kitchen light sucks).

that looks great!
i'm a new comer to sushi is it's not well known in the UK, i tried some for the first time this summer, just a frozen box from Aldi, but i really like it!
it's such a visually pleasing food too, these sweets look like little works of art it would be *almost* a shame to eat them xd

I prefer eating real sushi- not because I like the flavor better, but because I can't rationalize "Oh, it's just sugar, it'll keep a little longer... so pretty..."
Real sushi I'm like "I must admire and then eat, or I'll be sick for a week again!"

But if you have ant problems can't leave the candy sushi sit around either. xd

Yanno, I don't really like sushi. *thinks* I mean, it isn't the "omgrawfish!" thing, because... well, so what? But I don't like vinegar, and sushi is inevitably vinegary, as far as I've found. Or is that just because I've never had good sushi?
Someone, educate this poor soul on good sushi!

th4 sushi i have tried was good, i could detect any vinegary taste, and i have pretty sensitive taste buds, so maybe it's just the varieties that you've tried.
i adore California rolls, the crab, avocado combo makes me drool, plus they're rolled in sesame seeds which i love 3nodding

OMG! My heart melted! I want those so badly haha, I love sushi.. and even more.. I love chocolate.. two things I love together is .. well it's actually heart break since I can't afford it haha. They're even booked on deliveries!
One day though, I'll treat myself. Thanks for showing us this! xd
@Kyouki: Well like my sister always says, if you hate it, you'll notice it.
And the preperation for sushi does require a vinegar mixture in the rice. I'm sure if you ask though they can make you a roll with out vinegar.. I don't kow how they'll take it but it shouldn't be a problem. 3nodding You might have to wait for the rice to cool though since the rice is usually served cold and is premade.
If not.. you can always make some at home yourself.
Also, it's not always raw fish! Eel, is actually cooked, and even though it is eel.. it's VERY VERY deliciouse! ^_^ (especially the sauce)
There's a large variety, so I suggest you tell them what you'd like and don't like.. and they'll help you out.
