This is a topic to discuss some of the more obscure characters of the franchise. A few I know of them are:Tethra/Tesra/Tesla Kober/Kover: almost everything about this guy is up for debate, gender, species, name, and everything (I think he's Tethra, a male bat-eared fox). He was an unused Cornerian Army character for the old comics. Scans will come up eventually...Bear Noguchi: another unused CA comic character. He's a bear. Yeah.Croakella: Slippy's girlfriend seen once in the SNES comics. Possible inspiration for Amanda.Herbert: SNES comic character, Andross' assistant robot pig.Fara: Fox's SNES-comic love interest.Vixy Renard: Fox's mom in the comics. Looks like Fara (wtf?)Captain Shears: villain in the ADV comics, Farewell Beloved Falco.The blue cat: Katt's friend/love interest from Farewell Beloved Falco. I've fan-named him Tom.Rat: a short, eccentric rat character from Farewell Beloved Falco. He's speculated to be a parody of the Mario franchise's Mouser, but I've fan-named him Rosco. Gator: A large, canon-loving gator from Farewell Beloved Falco. He's speculated to be a parody of Bowser, but I've fan-named him Bones.Fay: female dog character in Star Fox 2. Speculated to have been replaced by either Bill or Katt.Miyu: female lynx/caracal character in Star Fox 2. Speculated to have been replaced by either Bill or Katt. Rumour has it that she was dating Fox.-There was also a sheep character in the early stages of SF2, replaced by Fay later on- Algy: 4th member of Star Wolf in Star Fox 2. Replaced by Andrew.Saru: weird Andross cyborg thing from SF2.Caiman: the guy shouting random things at Area 6 in SF64Shabunga: Thorntail shopkeeper in Adv. He's not completely obscure, people just don't know his name because it was only stated in the official player's guide.Gradabug: the engineer for the CloudRunner Fortress in ADV.Sabre: Dinosaur Planet character. Older brother was killed in a war, stepbrother to Krystal.Randorn: Krystal's adoptive father. He's dissapeared. (Dinosaur Planet)Kyte: The CloudRunner Princess, Krystal's assistant. It's rumoured that before they chopped out half of ADV. due to glitching, they were going to have the little CloudRunner on Scales' Galleon be Kyte.Ringtails/Boomer: I don't think either of those names are official, but he was the training mode guy in SF64 and also appeared in the old comics.Pepper's Assistant/Gary: the leopard you see in the comics.

Scales isn't obscure, he was the main (sorta) villain from Adventures.
I forgot the SF64 training mode guy and Pepper's leopard assistant from the comics.

You can find all the comics at Arwing Landing, under the 'comics' section. They don't have any pictures of Tethra and Bear yet, though.

I did hear somewhere Fara was Fox's sister. That could have been off a StarWars meet StarFox fan thing though. Although it would explain why she looked like Fox's mum.

Heheh, that's weird...I'm doing a fancomic, and she's KINDA his sister in it...
In the comics (and this is still debatable whether she was or not) Andross was the one responsible for killing Vixy, but it was an accident because he wanted to get into her pants, so he cloned her or something, and his clones mistook Fara for her because she was dressed in Vixy's dress, thus revealing to Fox that he killed her, but the way he said it made it sound like she really WAS the Vixy clone. However, while Vixy (in the single photograph of her) appeared to be a red fox, Fara is a fennec. Direct cloning couldn't change the species. I just tweaked it for my fancomic so she was a pseudo-clone, so Fox just considered her his sister...
Yeah, it's weird...
