The band that's given the most credit in the creation of metal music. Probably it is the band that created what metal music should sound. They're the ones that changed rock music for the better. Originally fronted by Ozzy Osbourne he was "asked to leave" the band when they were recording the album "Paranoid". The band is mostly known for the song "Iron Man" which was recorded after Ozzy left the band.

Sabbath is a good band, not one of my favourites, but still good, and obviously incredibly inflential.

I tihnk I speak for everybody when I say that Black Sabbath was much much better when Ozzy was the lead singer.

I AM IRON MAN i know people will get mad, but i have to correct this guy. paranoid was recorded in 1970, ozzy left the band in 1979. besides iron man is sung by ozzy.

I AM IRON MAN i know people will get mad, but i have to correct this guy. paranoid was recorded in 1970, ozzy left the band in 1979. besides iron man is sung by ozzy. There are 2 versions of Paraniod. The original version recorded with Ozzy on vocals and the actual released version with Glenn Hughes.

All I know is these guys were a major influence upon my choice to play guitar. That and recreational pharmecuticals. Unfortunately, in the 12 years since, I've pretty much forgotten how to play all Sabbath.
Favorites of mine are Snowblind and Black Sabbath.

Sex! In The Kitchen Sink These Apes Are Zombies! Sex! In The Kitchen Sink I can play Iron Man on guitar. So can I. And I don't even own a guitar, so you know it's easy. It's pretty much hitting the same cord over 5 times. It's must play. Just like Deep Purple's "Smoke on Water" or Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven". But myself prefer to try and master Free Bird.

Shotgun Mouthwash I can almost play Free Bird, it's really easy minus the 4 minute solo. Like you I can play all the normal parts like intros, ect but those solos are damn annoying. I can play the song perfectly on Guitar Hero though.
