Ok, I just rented it so I saw these all yesterday
1. The tires say "Lightyear" of course it's a ref to Goodyear but what about Buzz Lightyear XD
2. The birds from "For the Birds" (a Pixar short) and sitting on a telophone line (but it happens really fast but you hear them squeak)
3. During the credits Mack (the truck the transports Lighting) is watching a bunch of movies. These are the movies:
-Toy Cars Story
-Monster Cars Inc
-A Bugs Life (Bug...as in a VW Bug XD)
then he says something like 'hey, what kind of production is this, they keep using the same voice actor". This is becuase they keep showing the car-versions of characters played by John Ratezenburger in Pixar films. And Mack is played by him too XD
also Mater says some of Larry the Cable Guy's signature lines like "git 'er done"

I love that line... whee

I noticed those all too. lol, the squeaking bird freaked me out at first, well, just suprised me. I had to watch it three more times to realize what it was. xd

LOL I love that movie!! I especially love the stuff with Mack at the end, and all the NASCAR references, hehe. Like Mr. and Mrs. The King, referring to Richard Petty! And the Piston Cup, like Winston Cup! But I think my favourite is the cameos(is there a word for voice cameos, lol!) by Dale Earnhardt Jr... love it!

Yeah! I noticed all those too! Except for the Mater ones because I don't really know Larry the Cable Guy that much, until Cars came out. I love how Pixar puts in little Easter Eggs that are funny when you realize what they are!

Disney claims to always put in something in each animated film that was in some other animated film before...this isn't the first time they've done this sort of thing.
