Any of you ever had strange things happen when you wake up or have something odd wake you?
The first that I remember was when I had a different smaller room in the house before me and my sister switched rooms. I woke up to someone kneading my back with their fingers or gently stroking my back. It was NOT scary or malesting. I woke up calm and wondering why my mom was waking me up (I was pretty young) but when I turned around of course, there was no one there. I didn't think anything of it then, just kind of sat there.
Then, in my new room not long ago, I woke up (or maybe had a dream that I did though I saw the time) and saw who was supposed to be my best friend standing next to my book-shelf. She's still alive and the image of her wasn't of her at all, I just knew it was supposed to be. She looked like a little girl in a white-dress (cliche' I know) frowning at me. And I knew my friend was angry or dissapointed in me for something I did. We never get in fights. It was around 3:20am I think.
Now, just this morning I woke up to a pen clicking around the same spot between my books and my dresser. It clicked twice slowly when I slowly woke up and heard it but stopped when I started listening again. It was 5:45am this time.
I've had a few others but these are the main ones.
Are they just dreams or am I being sent messages (something else)?
Feedback would be nice and more of your experiances too. heart

That's pretty creepy. Don't know what to say except that I've had a few strange sleeping, dreaming and waking experiences too.
Most recently, a night ago, I had this dream that really shocked me. In my dream I was bitten by a poisonous serpent that my aunt brought to a dinner at my house one day (none of my dreams are logical...). I started crying because I was going to die in 24 hours because of the bite. It was really strange. By the end of the dream, my time was almost up and I was mostly crying because everything that I'd have wanted to get done or do and all of my goodbyes before death were not completed and fulfilled and wouldn't be in a matter of a few hours.
I woke up with a tear-stained face. Seriously. It was such a silly dream but I swore it was real when I woke. It took me like four minutes to realize it wasn't real. I don't know if it's paranormal and it isn't similar at all to your experience but I just thought it strange that I would feel so strongly for a moment that what had occured in my dream was true and my death was near in 24 hours.
I've never had a dream about dying or my death (I didn't actually die in my dream though). So I found it weird.
Anyway, you're experience was really really creepy.

Dreams never really make sense. wink Maybe your dream was a message to...uh...rush? Haha. I don't know. I think I've cried when I'm sleeping before though. I'm never really sure but my mom asked if I had been crying the night before and I didn't remember. (Eyes were a bit weird feeling too) Dying in dreams signifies a new beginning. But that's all I know about that. heart

Weird.
I just remember waking up in the middle of the night for no reason, and feeling very afraid. (I don't think I had a nightmare, if I did, I don't remember) I turned on my lamp.
Another night I was falling asleep, but I woke up because I felt something slap my shoulder.
I would pass it off as just a figment of my imagination (nothing fun ever happens to me), but my shoulder stung after that.

I can't remember much about it, but back when I lived in halifax ((in an apartment I know only as '59'. I think it's an office building now...))
I had gone to sleep. sometime during the night I woke up, with a feeling of confusion. After looking around my room I saw a figure ((literally. from what I can recall, it was like a sillouette. a shadow in human form.)) just standing there. I was paralized with fear, and couldn't move. then, it spoke. just a slow, and cautious: "hello?" It just kept repeating 'hello'. finally, I mustered up the courage, and said (asked, really.) hello back to it. then silence. It was gone. And I remember, It had the same voice as somebody who worked at the daycare I went to. I never really mentioned it after that...
another story! very short, as I know squat about it.
I don't remember where, or when, just that one night my mom saw somebody go through mine and my sisters door, into our room. through our locked door, I might add.

You have to be very suspect of “strange” things experienced while waking up. While awakening different parts of the brain will activate at different times and in different orders, which can heavily distort the senses and even induce hallucinations. This can give the impression that something completely imagined caused you to wake up, when in fact whatever it was may just be a product of your brain waking up.

But that's all I know about that. heart Lolz I hope that's what it means. I'm no good with symbolism and dreams. I'm not even sure. Another death dream, not my own death though. I dreamt a couple of years ago when I was twelve that a family member died on a Friday at 5:00 AM. It was very strange. When I woke up I felt afraid because it was Friday and I honestly believed someone had died at 5:00. Nobody died. Another Friday went by and still no death so by then I was certain I had just had some crazy dream. As it turns out, a few weeks later on a Friday at 5:00 AM my uncle was murdered. It was the strangest coincidence that could have ever occured. For a while, I blamed myself for dreaming it but I was young so I didn't really know what to think. I'm over it now. But it was the worst experience. So far, no more predictions. I hope it stays that way.

I love listening to my dreams and seeing what my mind can do every night.

once I was sleeping on my couch, and I woke to the sound of what sounded like a cat screeching. BUt when I asked my parents if they'd heard it, they said no... it was creepy. Their room leads into the living room. And another time, I was almost asleep, but then I swore something came up to my ear and screamed my name.

I recently had a ´waking up´ experience when I was taking a nap. I was waking up slowly. It was one of those naps where you are just so tired you don´t dream. I didn´t dream at all, but I felt well rested when I woke up. Except I saw something weird in my room... the trouble is, I don´t know if it was just a vision or thought or if I really did physically see something. It was a large figure about the height of a person but very bulky with what I can only assume to be two horns shooting out opposite each other from the ´thing´s forehead. My room was dark so I could only see its figure not its countenance.
For some reason I felt like I knew this ´thing´ like an acquaintance or friend. I got up instantly and it was gone. I remember searching up and down the house for it and even asked my mom and brother where it was except when I asked for it I asked verbatim, ´Where´s the kid?´
They were really confused...as was I, the words just came so naturally that I had to re-think the whole situation and discern whether it was reality or not. I haven´t had an experience like that since. It wasn´t exactly frightening but I found it amusing.
