Lt. Commander Data, I am very sorry to inform you that your results have come in. I fear that unless your problem of using too many smilies is stopped, your life may end in a mere sixty-five to seventy years. We have done all that we could for you. The rest will be up to you. Good luck, Austin Aires, Eagle Eye, mayday22, WHATEVER THE HELL THE WORLD WANTS TO CALL ME!!!!! biggrin biggrin biggrin And I have to stop there because your issue may be contagious. wahmbulance blaugh

Dear Josh,
I have a problem. My girlfriend lives an hour away. This doesn't seem too bad, correct? Alas...I have no vehicle. That is right, I am eighteen and have not a car, truck, or moped. It costs me thirty dollars, not including money spend on the date (Which is never more than ten dollars, we date cheap...Lakefront FTW!), to go see her. I would like to see her more often, what do you suggest?

Dear LoSI, As some of you know, I built my own guild today. It's called Project: Abnormality if you want to check it out. My problem is this. I don't know how I'll advertise the guild to make it more popular and known. How did LoSI do it? Any ideas? -mayday22

Dear Mayday, you should see some of the scheme's we've thought up in the past... Since none of them have really worked as well as we've wanted I can't really give you any concrete advice.

I recommend not starting your own guild. There are thousands of guilds that are very unsuccessful. I’m the vice-captain of one that’s on hold indefinitely. If you’re starting a role-playing guild, you’re in double trouble.
Here at LoSI, we’re trying to keep our recruitment thread going, but the main downfall of the recruitment thread is it’s in a forum for recruitment threads. They aren’t allowed anywhere else. So we’re a little stuck until someone comes to that forum wanting to join. Most of us have already exhausted our (very short) friends lists getting members, and people in real life think this sort of thing is really lame.
Blame our stick-to-itiveness, but we’re still around because we have four people running this game. We’ve planned a lot of things together and that helps.
Sorry to be the Debbie Downer.

It's kind of too late. The guild's up and since it's up I might as well keep trying. I hope it is successfull but I know what you mean.

Kenji Wolf Dear Josh, I have a problem. Dear Kenji, You are right, one hour doesn't seem too bad. My girlfriend lives three hours away when I'm home. While I'm at school, that distance jumps to six hours. About once a month, I jump on a train to go see her. The round trip sets me back over one hundred and fifty dollars. My advice? Learn to cope with it. If your relationship is strong enough to stand the strains of distance, it will be strong in the face of other challenges, too. Yours, Josh
