What if Riker hadn't refused the powers of Q? What if they made a new future based Star Trek and had post-baby Q on there? How would [insert character's name here] act in a different universe? What if Picard and Dr. Crusher had gotten together?

Yeah, I've always been sad that there is only one eal episode where Picard and Dr. Crusher talk about that! He's bald, she's pretty, they are perfect for eachother! As for Q being less Q-ish, I think that the Q Confederation picked him because of his personality, not the personality as a result, but I could always be wrong, I'm sure the power helped his position somehow... twisted

I was glad that Riker did not end up accepting the powers of the Q. I think Riker has a tendency to think rather highly of himself in the first place, and I think being a Q would just exacerbate that particular quality of his character.
Taco mentioned the possible scenario of Picard and Crusher getting together. I really would have liked that. They had so much common history and seemed so compatible.
My what if scenario: what if Picard had liked Lokswana as she liked him?

What if I, me, myself, moi, was on Star Trek? I would be steering the ship. So hension(dunno how to spell it). That's the correct position right?

dragonmonkey My what if: What if I, me, myself, moi, was on Star Trek? I would be steering the ship. So hension(dunno how to spell it). That's the correct position right? I love to drive. I do believe that it is 'ension', I know that is what the Navy uses, but, yeah, that would be totally awesome to work on a star ship, but I would want to pick where it goes, the ension only steers, they don't pick... crying

~Scene: Captain Picard is in Dr. Crusher's medical office~ &Action!
Picard: Dr. Crusher...Beverly. I..have been wondering. Would you like to have dinner some time?
Beverly: Oh Jean-Luc I..can't.
Picard: Why not?
Beverly: It's Wesley. He looks up to you and admires you. But if we were to date he might begin to think you're trying to replace his father.
Picard: I admire Wesley too. He's not a little boy Beverly. He would understand.
Beverly: I'm not too sure about that Jean-Luc. You don't know my son.
Picard: True. And though he might reject at first, to see a parent happy would make any child feel happy too.
*places right hand on Beverly's shoulder* Trust me.
Beverly: Alright Jean-Luc. But if it seems to be too much for Wesley then I have to back out.
Picard: I understand.

I know there is an episode where they explain that, I tjink it is the one where her is stripped of his powers and she stabs him in the hand with a fork....
