Atsu was running through the forest, it was the same dream again. He knew it was useless, but he had to try. The trees and brush flashed past him as he used every ounce of energy left in his body to propel him along. The village was already destroyed, it had been for fifteen years now, but still he rushed to try and save it. His mind would not let him rest with his failure. The forest finally gave way to the high cliff overlooking the village, it was as always, in ruins. Smoke still curled up from the last remaining fires that had torched everything to the ground, he knew there were no survivors, but in his dream he had to make sure. Without hesitating for a moment he hurled himself off of the cliff, down to what used to be his village below.
Waking, he realized that he hadn't had that dream since he had found a new home here with the monks. Letting the rising sun bring him to his full senses as the light came in the window, he got up and walked over to the trunk he had sitting in the corner of the room. Digging to the bottom he found what he was looking for, a small metal container. Closing the trunk he went back and sat on the bed again, opening the container. Inside was a silver locket wrapped in a pink silk hankerchief. A sad smile came to his face as he looked at the objects. Snapping back to reality he sighed and unconciously put the locket over his head. Changing into his training outfit, Atsu headed out into the courtyard for his morning workout.

Spork awoke from another dreamless sleep in an unknown forest and gazed at the surrounding landscape expecting to find something that she could not. Sighing heavily she remembered that her travels had taken her far beyond the grave of her former caretaker. Each morning she awoke without seeing him sleeping long into the morning brought back the pain of his loss. Deep in her heart Spork knew that nothing would ever replace him, but she hoped that this journey if succesful might ease the pain by providing a new home. She quickly gathered a humble breakfast, which she ate in silent appreciation of the beauty surrounding her. Finishing her meal, Spork gathered her belongings and continued on her journey determined to find the monks of Barton she kept hearing about.

Out in the courtyard, Atsu looked about but didn't see anyone else, "Must all be asleep yet, I guess it is early." He began going through his morning routine, but kept getting distracted. Something about this day was different, but he couldn't put his finger on it. Deciding to take a break Atsu headed into the mess hall for some breakfast.

Ryu hadn't sleep all night. He couldn't exactly tell why, but a feeling of unease kept him awake all night. When the first light of the sun entered his window, he decided it was time to go to the mess hall for some breakfast.
When he entered the mess hall, he noticed Atsu sitting in a corner of the room. He walked over there and said: '' You're early...'' Like a zombie, he walked over to the kitchen and prepared some Elvish coffee. It's meant to give the drinker a boost of energy. From the kitchen, he shouted: '' Atsu, you want some? ''

"Yeah, couldn't hurt." He shouted back. He picked at his food a bit, but wasn't really hungry, "You're up early, rough night?"

He walks to Atsu, with two cups of coffee in his hand. '' Yeah...Some unexplainable feeling of unease haunted my mind all night...'' He hands over the coffee and takes place on a chair besides Atsu. '' I had the same feeling a few years ago...it was the day my father died..''

Taking the coffee he lets it warm his hands, "Yeah... I know that feeling." Atsu says almost to himself. He puts the cup to his lips and takes a sip... eek whee xp "Wow... what's in this stuff Ryu?"

Walking with long effecient strides Spork travels quickly arriving in a clearing with a well off to the South and a large open gate to the east. Hmm that must be the entrance they spoke of in Durem last night when I asked about Barton.Looks around her and realizes that it is still quite early in the morning as she stands below the rising sun. Hmm, looks like I woke up earlier than normal, must be the anticipation of finding the information I seek. I am glad this forest was here though, I would not have felt as comfortable sleeping out here.
After dwelling on her thoughts for a moment, Spork turned her attention eastward and set out toward the gate of Barton with a determined stride.

Ryu smiles if he sees Atsu's face. '' This coffee is made from the Cardeo-bean. It's very healthy and can be used as a natural supplement to increase your stamina. That being said; you don't drink it for its flavour! '' he says laughing.
His face turns serious again and with a little bit depressed voice he says: '' I really fear something will happen today. The most frightfull part is that I can't tell what it might be...

"Wow..." He takes another sip of the coffee and gimaces again, "You can say that again."
Setting the cup down he looks over at Ryu, "I don't know either. Last night I had a dream that I hadn't dreamt since I came to Barton. I fear it could be a omen; for good or evil, I don't know."

Arrives within the walls of Barton wonders where to go from here. Seeing the shops she decides to ask for further directions. Upon entering a small shop behind the fountain in the center of town she is greeted by a plainly dressed man in a hat and his cat. Immediately starting to play with the cat and scratch it behind its ears Spork asks, "Excuse me sir, but do you know where I might find the Warrior Monks that I have heard tales of?"

After sitting in silence for a bit, forcing down Ryu's coffee. Atsu stood up and cleaned up his breakfast mess. "I've got some running around to do this morning Ryu. If anyone asks I'll be back around lunchtime." He wandered out to the main gate of the Monk's grounds. Overlooking the city streets he wondered what the day would bring.

Looking at her kindly the man said, "My name is Ian and I am afraid that I am far too busy here to have much time to explore the are. We have a large selection of clothings and accessories though feel free to shop around."
Sighing Spork thanked Ian and walked out the door only to see a man in the distance that seemed to fit her mentor's description of the man she should seek for information about her origins. Cautiously, Spork started walking toward the man uncertain of what she would say.

Not noticing the girl slowly approaching him, Atsu started to jog off down the street in the opposite direction. The dream was still running through his mind as he didn't pay any attention to where he was going. Before he knew it he was at the northern gate to the city. "Maybe the sea air will help clear my head." He thought and started the walk toward Gambino.
