This RP takes place in medieval times. The planet Albia is in utter chaos. Nations are competing to be the dominant empire. The great country known as Rith, has required aid of mercenaries from other countries. We are soldiers in a global war. Since we are mercenaries we have our own troops be it infantry or calvary, etc. We also have our own equipment.

Ashitaka, or just Taka to his friends, awaited battle in the field with his troops. He was the man of his people and a charismatic leader. The man took pride in "sitting in the mud" with his men, and being first into battle. On his back was a large weapon, no less than seven or eight feet long. It looked like a large sword, but the blade was covered in a white wrap, so details were impossible. Taka moved with skill and ease with it, a show of his strenght.
The man soon stood and slowly made his way over to the other commanders. "When do you think we shall attack?"

Haku looked at his troops that had been gathered in the sands of the Omaj Desert. "Men! I know I have not been in lead of you long. I know I am young, and many may think that I am inexperienced. I tell you this: Do not underestimate my power. I have seen war since the day I was born. I have lived in the most battle-stricken parts of our world. Since I was able to walk, I have brandished a sword. I single-handedly fended off that which my family, my friends, and everyone else in the town could not. I am the last remaining Zelon, and you are now my people. I will not fail you! Let us ride into the night to our new assignment!"
A resounding warcry rang out as Haku smiled on his troops. They boarded their trusty camels and rode throughout the night until the sands gave way to grass and dirt and civilization took on a new turn, the likes of which the desert-folk had never seen.

Marcellus went to Theo to see what was going on.Theo gave him the rundown of what was going on.
Theo told him it was the basic setup, infantry in front, archers in back, and calvary on flanks. It was not a fully amassed army, but it was large enough to pose a threat.
Theo told him to report to the front lines and have everyone prepare for battle. Marcellus smiled, he yearned for the taste of blood. He turned and walked out of Theo's tent. He saw his troops and smiled a grisly smile and yelled "To the front lines"!!!! There was a roar and beating of chests and weapons. The roar of the troops filled Marcellus with adrenaline. He chuckled and though to himself, "so it begins."

Haku and his troops had made camp a little further off from the others who had gone there. He was sitting by himself, his men off doing their own various things. He remembered well when he first arrived in this strange town. He was at the lead of his troops, and everyone... EVERYONE... was just staring as they marched through the city. Haku distinctly recalled thinking how everyone was dressed strangely, then catching himself and remembering: They were the foreigners. These people were dressed normal for their own particular weather and fashion trends or whatever. Haku's troops were dressed for the sands.
As he sat, a man approached with his entire army not too far behind. "Greetings. I hear you are the child prodigy, Haku. I am Marcellus. Lord Theo has ordered all troops to the front line. We ride at dawn." He stared at Haku, as if waiting to hear something. Haku had nothing to say, so instead just nodded and smirked. Marcellus spun on his heel and headed back towards his own troops. It was time. In his country, wars and battles were known as "Marshing" on account of so much blood was spilled and mixed with the sand. He knew there was no sand this time, and that the terms were all different. But that didn't stop the fact that he would love the thrill of the battle.

It was night and there was a great feast, to some it would be their last supper. Marcellus enjoyed watching everyone. Everyone was in a great mood, fools were already drunk, but having fun none-theless. He felt very withdrawn and knew some of the faces he sees tonight would not be here tommorrow. He wished he could protect them and give them strength, especially the very young men. He saw Haku he seemed to be having a good time too with his people. Some how even though he was young Marcellus did not worry for him, he had heard of his greatness on and off the battlefield. Marcelus knew he was a great fighter and a brilliant tactician. Marcellus smiled thinking he weas happy he was on their side.
Marcellus finished his meal and headed to the balcony,he was full of thought. Tommorrow would not be a huge battle, but important. The night and morning before were always so beautiful. The sky was clear and starry. But there would be blood tommorrow.

Haku watched as Marcellus left the room. He excused himself from his men and joined Marcellus on the balcony. Marcellus looked deep in thought, and so Haku just jumped up on one of the concrete decorative orbs until Marcellus took notice of his presence. Marcellus turned and faced his new ally. "So... the young tactician and brilliant warrior: Haku of the Sand. What brings you out here?" Haku thought for a second. He stared intently at Marcellus. "Was.... was it fun? Being a child, I mean. Was it fun?" Marcellus looked a little confused at this, but answered anyways. "I don't remember much of my childhood. I trained a lot, but nothing big, I still had time to play, I guess." Haku smiled and looked up at the stars. "I never got to experience that. We were never really allowed to play. Plus, when I was only 12 I took control of my men." As he looked back down, he could see the worry wrought on Marcellus' face. "Don't worry, though." Haku reassured. "These are just idle thoughts that take up my spare time. In battle, I am as focused as a hawk on its prey." This seemed to calm down Marcellus' nerves a bit. Marcellus spoke up after a slight pause. "You truly are an amazing child. Perhaps we can have a sparring match if we both survive tomorrow's battle?" Haku smiled and shook his head, and they both went back inside to enjoy the rest of their feast.

I went to bed and slept soundly. The night before battle was no stranger. I awoke early. I strapped on my armor and picked up my sword and shield. I carried my helmet and walked to see Theo one last time. He told me My troop was stationed in the middle of the front. It was the obvious choice since we were hired hands. Everyone was placed into formation and we started our march. I was glad to see Haku was to my left on the front lines, so I could witness the prodigy. I checked my sword and shield as we marched to make sure they were in good shape. Of course they were i kept all my weapons in perfect shape. I checked my helmet for weak spots and placed it on my head. I loved my helmet because it did not obstruct myeyesight at all. We were getting closer to the battle field.

My men marched on behind me. To my right, Marcellus and his troops. To my left, a group of Japanese warriors who had also been hired on as mercenaries. More mercenary troops were there, too, and were scattered among the others. We were headed towards a high hill, and once on top of the hill, we would finally view the enemy we knew so little about. It made me uneasy, not knowing our enemy, but I was still confident in my skills and the skills of my men. Marcellus and I, along with the Japanese leader, reached the top of the hill first. We halted and saw what looked to be a group of pirates and vikings. Apparently we weren't the only mercenaries serving another country. We only had about 5 seconds to view the enemy army before a volley of arrows was fired into the air towards us. Marcellus signaled for his men to raise their shields. I signaled for everyone to ready their weapons. The disc-like blades were removed from all of my men's backs. As the arrows drew near, I noticed they were much larger than normal arrows. About 1.5x longer, 2x thicker, and at least 5x heavier. I drew my own weapons and as the arrows came nearer I began furiously whipping my blades through the air. I saw Marcellus glance at me with a look of slight confusion. The Japanese men were taking a similar stance as that of my troops. As the arrows pounded down on us, they tore apart and shattered into hundreds of splinters. My swords cut down at least 36 different arrows before the volley came to a halt. I glanced backwards and saw that many of my men, along with the other men, had been wounded and killed already. They weren't as skilled with blades as I was. Marcellus lowered his shield, raised his sword, bellowed a deafening warcry, and he and his troops charged down the hills. I likewise raised my own swords and let out a shrill cry, joining him in the charge. The Pirate/Vikings gave a shout of their own and began their own speedy advance on us. In a matter of seconds, our two armies collided in all out bloody war.
