Okay, there is this story that has been going on for years and year, but I'm thinking about starting in the middle of the story, from the idea that the reader knows what is going on. Then flashbacks and explainations slowly explain what happened before while the current story progresses. Sound like a good idea?

Perhaps, if done carefully and well. If you don't do it just right, you'll leave everyone totally confused.
Seems like a cool kind of plot, though. smile

Well, at first they are suppose to be somewhat confused. Bit by bit however they understand.

I assumed that. I meant that if you don't do it fairly correctly, they'll be lost almost the entire time.

You might have to move slowly, just to make sure everything in the past and the present match up. It sounds like a very difficult, but possibly VERY fun task to take up. I'd say go for it, but move carefully.

Yea, I'll write it out randomly first, then fix it up and make it better. That is the only way I can write (I just have editing problems).

Sounds cool. =D Like already said, you need to be extremely carefull the way you do it. But you should do it. =D *Insert some sort of encouraging phrase here.*
