Wins!

So... I though it would be fun to have a guild contest with a gaia gold prize.
I also think that our guild mini banner needs help...(to say the least)
I made the banner but I do not have much graphical disign skill.
The guild mini banner is very importaint in getting new members so I think that this would be a good first contest!

Technical Stuff
Measurements
Guild banners should be 200 pixels wide and 40 pixels high. This measurement is usually shortened to "200x40" when typed out.
File Type
You can use .GIF, .JPG, or .PNG
File Size
As far as I know they can be any size. Though I would not recommend taking extreme advantage of this as larger file sizes will cause the page and image to load slower... especially for those who use dial-up. This could possibly discourage potential members!
Animated Banners
You may have animated banners.
Randomized Banners
You may randomize your banners as well. I'm not going to go into how to randomize them, but there are PLENTY of tutorials floating around on Gaia, particularly in the Gaia Guides and Resources subforum. So you should be able to find out how rather easily.
Hosting Your Banner
You can use any image hosting website. I recomend Photobucket.com but you can use whatever you like.
How to Make a Banner
You can use any kind of art/image manipulation software you'd like: programs like MS Paint or even Photoshop. It doesn't matter. Whatever you have available to you. Just stick within the measurement requirements and Gaia's ToS and you're good to go.
