"Ha! About 12 hours and 30 mins ago, I got a Nintendo Wii. I lined up about 24 hours ago...I'm glad we were able to stay inside though. I was number 8 on the list out of 30 people. Several minutes after I signed up, 3 of my friends arrived. I've never had so much fun in a Wal-Mart. After six hours, I got bored as hell and started saying 'konichiwa' and 'moshi-moshi' to random people that passed by me. I also said it to some ghetto kid who looked a year or two younger than me...I guess he thought I said something else, but he threatened to beat me up. That wouldn't have happened though, my 3 friends and I are martial artist...anyway, I got mine before they did, but they all got an extra game. I'm probably getting Red Steel or Twilight Princess for Christmas. Does anyone have any comments or questions about the system?"

But maybe not because the earlier systems may have a couple bugs but then again i got a 360 the first day and it works perfectly fine still. Well anyway congrats

Dude, seriously. Your determination to gloat about your new Wii is so stupid. It definitely doesn't constitute a thread in a Naruto RP Guild. ANd truth be told, you're kind of a loser for waiting all day to get a Wii the day it came out. =_=

Yami, cut him some slack. At least I appreciate the thread, and I plan on taking advantage of it. Ryukinzo, about the controller... When you move it around, can you feel the sensors in it moving around, or does it feel like you're just moving around an empty controller?

Just because he's the owner of the guild doesn't change the fact that he's doing this to gloat and rub it in everyone's face. And he's not the creator of the guild. Just the owner. Besides, it doesn't change the fact that it doesn't constitute a thread.

When you move it around, can you feel the sensors in it moving around, or does it feel like you're just moving around an empty controller? I will do no such thing. He did the exact same thiong to me on MSN Messenger the moment he got back from getting it. Just started rubbing my nose in it.

I agree completly with Yami on this. Like he said the Wii in the possesion of Ryu does not require a thread dedicated to him and his Wii.

I wasn't the one waiting all day at a Wal-Mart to get a new system the day it came out.

"It's not neccessarily 'Me & My Wii', it's for anyone who wants to discuss the system. It's not like this is the only thread in the guild that isn't ninja/Naruto-related. And just because I told somebody that I have something, doesn't mean I'm rubbing it in his/her face. If I wanted to do that, I would've approached you much differently Yami. I could've said something like..." "Hey jackass!! Guess what I have and you don't?! A Nintendo Wii!! By the time you get Twilight Princess, I would've already beaten it!! Anyway, I'm too busy playing my Wii to talk to you, so I'll see you again in a week or so...MAYBE." "All I said to you and several other people was 'I GOT THE Wii!!." "And exactly how am I a loser for waiting from noon to midnight to get a game system? It's not like I had anything better to do that Saturday, plus my friends were going and I decided to go with them. It's not like I stood outside in the hot sun, or cold winds all day. We were inside a Wal-Mart! A place with a decent temperature, places to sit, FOOD, and people to talk to."
"...anyway, about the controller...when playing a game, it kinda feels like you're swinging the object. You can't feel the sensor though xd . There's a laser invisible to the naked eye (on the controller) that connects to the sensor bar that you place above or under your TV. I've played a Tennis and Boxing game, and I played Red Steel this morning for a few hours at my friend's house. The storyline hasn't grabbed my attention, but the game play did. You aim with the 'remote' and move with the 'nunchuk'. I can't remember how, but you manage to pick up a sword near the beginning of the game. You spend most of your time shooting though, and you only slash against enemies who have a sword. That sounds kinda lame, but if you were to play the whole game with a sword...=_=, your arm would be worn out. But the system does the best job it can to mimic your hand/arm movements... Did that answer your question?" xd

You know, I'd would've waited in line for the PS3, Wii, and Xbox360 if my mom would've let me (I'm turning 13 in April, long ways to go...) but I don't care. I took my turn in line for Halo2 to come out as me, my brother, and my dad had switched places to keep up.
I think it's cool to wait in line for that kind of stuff... Then again, I don't have a life. Anyway, My dad would sleep in the car about ten minutes walk from the line, and me and my brother would wait in line. When the time came, I'd get my sleep in teh car and my dad would go back. We sat in line for a total of 5 hours, and it was pretty cool...
Oh... This was about the Wii, not my life-story. Anyway, is the whole "Nun-chuck" design working out for you? It seems interesting for some games, I'm just glad they'll have a different type of controller for the other games like SSBB (Super Smash Bro's Brawl) At least... That's what I heard...

"That sounded like a good strategy." XD
"It takes several minutes to get used to it...but yeah, it's cool. I don't think they are having a new controller for SSBB, but they might, I'm not sure. The game looks pretty good though."
