I just got Tool's album "Lateralus" and I'm enjoying it.

Easly one of my all time top bands. I love everything they put out, even there latest, 10,000 days. There stuff is amazeing, lissaning to there music is more then just rocking out, its a damn experence.

Tool is amazing. Probably the best band thats in the mainstream. Its funny though, cuase their sound is so different from most other mainstream artists out there anyway.

Lateralus is my favorite Tool album, though Undertow is a close second. Their older music is a lot harsher than the more recent stuff, though can be just as melodic at times. Maynard's voice is just so chilling and beautiful that whether he's belting out a sorrowful tune or screaming about "stupid belligerent f**kers," the music is just as alluring either way.

I sadly missed a chance to see them live several months ago due to Ticketmaster's perfect efficiency at being utterly incompetent. :/
