On Launch Day!
Shamefully the Nintendo Firmware servers are either not up yet or clogged, so I can't try out the Forecast, News, or Shop channels. But I've got Wii Sports, the mote with nun-chuck, and The Legend of Zelda.
I'm really liking it! Now I can't get fully into it because I'm half dead. I've been running around all day trying to figure out what was going on with the non-preordered consoles. (Where I live, they happened to move em' all to one single mall. I first was waiting in front of a Gamestop near my home, but I heard after waiting for 3 hours that all the extra units were moved to this other mall)
But Heck! I got one. It it's awesome. Reminds of me of the wondrous innovations that the Dreamcast introduced. 3nodding
So anyone else gotten a Wii? Anyone plan to get one within a month? At all?

I want a Wii crying but all my paychecks this month will be going towards x-mas shopping so it looks like it will have to wait crying

I'd like to have a Wii. D: By the way, my friends say the Wii is only one player and you have to hook up another Wii for two players, is that true?

Ha, no you don't need multiple Wiis. You just get a second Wii mote, sync it up, press 1+2 on the multiplayer screen, and your in.

Anyway, I can't wait to get a Wii. I'm a diehard Nintendo fan,
always have been, always will be. I really just want to play
Twilight Princess. I had it reservered for the GC but the mutha <******** pushed it back to Dec. 12 so they could try and sell more Wii's!
Damn Nintendo for trying to be like Sony! I never thought they'd
do something like that. I'm very dissapointed in them. talk2hand

It looks like it would have alot of bugs in the interface between controller and consule. Other then that it looks like a good system

I already have the Wii and it is a lot of fun. Wii sports is good and the DBZ game for it is also really fun to play with your friends.
